... at least that's what the banner under her shop sign said. The woman in question sighed as she did a bit of touch up work on a few display pieces inside.
Stuff for effect make ups and colors lined one wall and assorted props lined the one directly across from it. Behind the counter, that the woman was working on, was a large glass case displaying several painted and prepped full body appliances and the costumes that went with them. In front of her were assorted clothing pieces and outfits that she had made. Each of the clothing and prop items had a label reading 'Snider Theatrics'.
She looked up to the main window of her shop. Painted in her somewhat best reverse hand writing was 'Dreams To Dust' in a pale lilac paint. And the paperwork was a butt to deal with.... the woman though as she stood up and stretched.
The gate was open and the sign was flipped to say Open. Now all she had to do was wait for customers to arrive.

Not wanting to get involved in the inevitable chaos, Loba took wing and flew off.
It was only a few minutes before she reached the plaza.
Fwoomp.
The dark-winged angel landed on top of a fountain, before sliding off.
Why did she land on that fountain you may ask? Because it was close to her favourite sushi bar.
As she made her way over, something else caught her eye.
"I think we're gonna need some stuff for holidays."
--
Beth would be made aware of someone walking around her store and examining the wares.
"Maybe for special occasions only."

The woman looked up from her project on the counter.
"I also make custom orders if you have something in mind you would like," she offered to the first into her shop. "Take your time. I offer lessons on how to use the Krylon and appliances on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month."
She blinked actually looking at her customer. FLUFFY WINGS!!! she mentally squealed as she came out from behind the counter.

"Nice place ya got here," Loba chirped, not taking notice of Beth eyeing her wings.
She then resumed looking around the shop. "Might be good to know how to use that stuff just in case my brother has another tantrum. Right now he's probably wrecking the place."
Loba's attention was drawn to the prop rack. "You got anything good for Halloween? Or for birthdays? We turn 701 in June."

"Depends. What'cha wantin'? Realistic fake body parts, bones, a demon skull, or would a rusted halo be appropriate?" The woman asked. Her name badge read 'Beth- Owner'. A hand reached out to touch Loba's dark mustard colored wings.

"You got anything crow-related? And spooky-looking candles? Just nothing that smells like cinnamon..." Loba wrinkled her nose at that. "Almost ruined an otherwise-perfect 666th."
She took interest in a collection in the back, turning around and giving Beth a full view of her wings. "These might work if they're wind-proof enough."

"I have some pumpkins that smell like Fire Amber or Dragon's Blood," she offered as her hand gently petted the wing. "I have a few taxidermy crows that I was going to put out closer to October. Halloween is a favorite time of year. I get to put out my more horror related things."

"Fire Amber sounds good, but you don't happen to stock Fermenting C-"
GHJCTFGHA
A weird tingly sensation ran down Loba's spine at the touch.
"Don't do that! If you do that again I just might have to stab you."

Beth jerked her hand away. "My apologies. The only wings I've ever seen have been false," she offered. "Which one of these are you looking at? And Fermenting what?"
The woman took a step back. "Also your wings at rather pretty," she offered as a compliment.

"Thanks they kinda have my lifeforce in them too so yeah I get really paranoid about them."
She said this in one breath before exhaling. "Fermenting Corpse. Doubt you have that here though."

"Actually.... give me a moment," Beth offered before darting into the back. The crashing of several boxes and a slew of really foreign curses could be heard. This was shortly followed up by an ecstatic "FOUND IT!!"
The shop owner came out holding what looked like a realistic and recently dug up tibia bone. "I have all my Halloween supplies is the back... I had to take inventory of stuff last night," she offered. "The only fermenting corpse candle I have I stock."

"Guess this saves me the 43 Kyanite it would take me to order it from the Inferno..." She noted Beth's look. "Don't ask. Currency where I'm from."
"I'm surprised human stores sell these," Loba chimed as she took the candle. "Normally you get such weird looks."

"I tried to cater to who or what ever walks in the door. I also have corpse flower seeds," Beth offered. "So which of the display designs were you looking at?"
The three currently displayed were what seemed to look like an eye less dragon with a broken mirror where the heart should have been, a battleworn Griffin female with arms encased in crystal with tentacles ready and poised to strike, and one skeletal Anubis like figure with a kinked bone tail.

"How much for the jackal?" Loba asked. "I'd love to freak my brother out a bit. Plus it'd look great in my room afterwards."

Beth sighed. "For the decayed Anubis. I can make a copy with a custom paint for you in 5 hours for about $150. I'll throw the candle in free for my earlier act of stupidity," she offered.
