Beth smiled and nodded. She wandered over to the props and picked up a few different necklaces and circlets.
"I have jewlery you can try as well," she offered.

Rustling could be heard on the other side. "Let me just put this on first," she offered, hustling a bit.

"Take your time," Beth offered happily.

As the two women went about their business, very few would take notice a peculiar warping in space going on in the skies above the shopping complex. The air around it crackled with electricity, the space about it seemingly puffing out little puffs of smoking energy that almost resembled fists. This seemed to go on for a few moments before.... CRACKOOOM!!!! WHISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ----- CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A building landed in the shopping district, landing on top of, and EFFECTIVELY CRUSHING INTO RUBBLE, an empty building that had been a shop that recently went out of business. The obviously much heavier and much sturdier building took a moment to settle, the dust flying about........ When at last it cleared, it revealed the name of the new sturdy building. 'Fitness Emotions'A building that seemed rather plain despite the fact that it survived a 20 story drop, crashed INTO another one story establishment, effectively pulverizing it, and survived without a freaking SCRATCH....... .... The front door opened, or at least it attempted to, getting caught on the debris.... A voice on the other end of the door grumbled a moment before opening the door the partial amount until it found the debris- AND THEN VIOLENTLY KICKED THE DOOR. HOWEVER RATHER THEN THE DOOR BUSTING OFF IT'S HINGES OR THE DOOR BREAKING AT ALL, THE DEBRIS WAS RIPPED OFF IT'S SUPPORT, LENDING TO A EAR GRATING GRIND SOUND AS IT RIPPED OFF MORE AND MORE FROM THE MAIN HOUSE. Out of the door jumped two figures, one a middle-aged woman in a blue work out jacket with blue windsuit pants, and big blonde hair, and the other a young boy around the per-pubescent age joining her. The two landed outside and quickly went into self-defense poses. .................... "............... Welll....... There goes the neighborhood..." "Mom! Where'd the plaza go- ?" "Hmmm... I'm not sure my little Dumbell.... This is really strange....." She did take notice of the nearby stores. "But maybe one of our neighbors will know..." She smiles to the child. "Okay K.O. mommy's gonna go check out the salon over yonder. You go try some other stores and see what you can find out about where we are." The child, apparently K.O. threw his fists into the air, eyes almost crossed. "Knowledge shall be mine!!!" And with that, the derpy little child rushed off. The mother, meanwhile, walked off in another direction. -------------------------------- There came some knocks at the door to Beth's place- followed by a shattering noise as the glass broke from the force of them. "OOPS! Um! Helloooooo? Is anyone there? Helloooooo!" K.O. called out looking the place over.... The 'Open' sign was hung up on the door. "I'M SORRY ABOUT THE DOOR!! But we're your new neighbors apparently!!"

Annabelle peeked out the door, a bewildered expression on her face. She whispered an obscenity to herself. "...Ma'am, it appears you have a new neighbor in the mall," she offered, slipping herself back in.
Even the ageless witch had no freaking clue.

Beth looked towards the door. She was shaking. "Welcome to the mall," she squeaked after setting down the jewlery she had gathered. "I'm Beth. I own this little shop."

The boy, taking a moment to remember that this door wasn't reinforced, opened it up, smiling as he walked in. "Hi~!" Beth had to take a second to look the little guy over. He definitely looked like a fighter, with the head band and wrist bands in place. Not to mention the barefeet. He almost looked like a miniature Street Fighter from initial appearances. "My name's K.O.! I love meeting new people and making friends! Do you know where we are-?"

Annabelle finally walked out of the dressing room, happily walking about in the old-styled european dress. "All I know for certain is the place's name," she offered.

"Welcome to the El Grande Mall of Dimensional Island," Beth offered to the tyke before going to her a broom and dealing with the broken glass. Well.... there went my first $150 made.... She thought as she looked to Annabelle.
"You look rather regal in that, Miss," she offered before sweeping up broken glass.

Annabelle gave a smile. "Thank you, miss Beth- now then, you said there was jewelry that could go with this?" She walked toward a display box, eyeing all of the lovely items available.

"On the counter," she offered as she swept. "So who are you, kid?"

The fighter child approached the front counter.... When it proved to be slightly over his head, the child jumped up and proceeded to sit on it, smiling to the woman. "I already told you! My name is K.O!" With that said, he had to go back a moment and wonder a bit about what was said before... Dimensional Island? El Grande Mall? He'd never heard of such places before....
"Are Dimensional Island and La Grand Mall anywhere close to Lakewood Plaza Turbo? Me and my mom come from there and... Now we're here along with our dojo. We have no idea what's going on..."

A puzzled, then understanding expression crossed Annabelle's face. "No, sweety. Dimensional Island is in a space between dimensions, no-where near any of our original homes. Yet at the same time, very close indeed," she offered. "It might take some getting used to, but many folks exist on this island."

I am so glad that the counter isn't glass... Beth thought as she got the last of the shards. "KO.... I was talking to my customer.... I set the jewlery on top of the-" she looked over. ".... KO.... please get off the counter..."
Unbeknownst to the tyke, he had chosen to sit right where the jewlery had been placed. The new shopkeeper was trying everything in her power to not become an emotional wreck right then and there.

"Oh! Okay." KO jumped off the counter, his movements almost slightly bouncy as the energetic child tried to take in each thing at a time. It was apparent from what the 'customer' had said that home was DEFINITELY a long ways away from here.... BUT SOMEHOW Very close? "... Very close... AND very far?" IT was apparent the poor boy's brain was smoking trying to process this. "Grrr! I don't get it!" He threw his hands up in the air, not really angry but at the very least somewhat frustrated. "What does that even mean??"
