"You came here very easily, correct?" she asked, walking toward the jewelry and inspecting them, trying some on. "And yet, the way you came here is now gone, and your home is nowhere near. Portals spawn in every possible place- the worlds inside of books, inside of television- even fanfiction. One spawned in your world, and brought you here, hence why it's close. But, it's also quite possible you may be unable to get back home very easily, hence why it's far away." She smiled at him.
"Does that make sense?"

Beth nodded as she cleaned up what had been disturbed during the landing. Her thought process stopped when she remembered the order she had been working on for the owner of a local bar.
"Excuse me a moment you two," she offered calmly before darting to the back to find not a thing out of place. Even the altered casting was going along smoothly. She calmly walked back out.
"Oh and miss. With you're lovely coloring, try the silver necklace with the emerald gems," Beth offered as she took her place behind the counter once more.

....................... K.O. looked at the woman wide-eyed. He indeed seemed to understand now.... Though judging by his face, he still didn't seem to like that info. "Well, that's not good............... I didn't wanna move. I really LIKED living in the plaza. All my friends were there..." Briefly, the child wondered if this same information had come across his mother at that point in time and if she was starting to think up ways to find their way back.

She looked to the child, approaching as she bent to his eye level. "With any luck, a way back to your home may surface soon," she offered, smiling. "And hey! Your other friends might even turn up here, who knows?"

That seemed to perk the boy up quite a bit. "Really? Okay cool!! That would be great!" He then considers the fact that the entire Fitness Emotions dojo had been moved here as well... "Hmm... Oh oh! I wonder if this means the entire Plaza is coming here too!! Mom's dojo is here after all! So maybe the other stores will be coming too!"
THE THOUGHT TERRIFIED BETH A LITTLE BIT.
"Well thanks for the help! I gotta go find and tell Mom what I found out!" He is quick to rush out the door........
Then he comes back, jumping up and down. "Oh, I almost forgot!! What do you sell here?? Do you sell awesome armor and stuff?? I love armor!"

Annabelle looked taken aback by this statement, looking quite unsure about what to say. If more areas were going to fall on top of the buildings and cause a ruckus, then who's to say this building wouldn't get flattened as a result?"

BETH WAS MORE THAN TERRIFIED AT THIS PROSPECT. She was shaking worse now than she had ever done inform of Talos or the Black King.
"It's fake armor for costumes. I made it for the central figure in my display," she offered as she was attempting to shove the notion out of fear in her voice. It was hard for the god tier to process the possibility of people in her shop being in danger from falling buildings. The thought nearly mortified the woman into being scared stiff.

K.O. scratched his cheek curiously before shrugging. "Okay! Sounds kinda silly to me, but not everyone can be heroes." He smiles a bit to Beth. "Anyways, nice to meet you both! Bye!" K.O scampered off with that said, starting to look around for his mother amidst all of the other stores in the mall. She had to be somewhere around here...

Annabelle gave a sigh. "...Well, with any luck at all... This mall is seperated into two stories, right?" she asked. "It's likely if a new shop does fall overhead, it might just land in an area that wouldn't crush the people underneath- or at the very least, wouldn't fall from a grand height in the first place..."
Though it was obvious she was trying to help calm the woman's nerves, Annabelle seemed like she had a hard enough time keeping herself calm from it.

"Good bye KO," Beth offered to the kid before turning to Annabelle and whimpering. "There were 2 where that Fitness Place is! I doubt it's going to stop them!!" Fear was evident in the woman's eyes as she took a breath.
"Forgive me for the flip out, ma'am. I haven't been this shaken... in along time...." she offered to Annabelle.

Annabelle smiled, taking up the silver and emerald necklace. "Oooh, quite the lovely color," she smiled. "I know, I know... This island has very odd behavior, that's for sure... Perhapse it will be gentler with possible new arrivals."
