Beth nodded. "That would explain the strong bond between the two of you. And aren't most extradimensional beings aggravating in some way or form?" she offered.
Ruby and Blake both raised eyebrows at Beth's statement.

Nora did a little clap, successfully stroking the little guy's ego.

"Eheh... Yeah, I guess so..." Kelsey sighed, smile calm and eyelids lowered. Her wandering mind started to drift. She had to wonder what Tri was up to, no doubt snooping around via his astral body, but she couldn't find it in her to worry too much. The yawn that followed said it all.
"Well... it was... really nice meeting you guys, but I should probably call it a night."

Beth started to get up. "Sleep well Kelsey. May you have some grand adventures on the island," she offered softly before gesturing for the girls to follow.
Blake and Ruby got up from their seats and followed the witch.

Nora got up as well, yawning. "I second your motion, Kelsey," she offered, getting next to the Witch in question. Pommy softly headbutted Kelsey (like a cat would) before hopping off the bed, running away to parts unknown.

"Thanks. Guess I'll... see you guys around!" Kelsey called, waving to her new neighbors as they departed.
Once again alone in the cozy little hotel room, Kelsey turned the TV off, darkened the lights and buried herself under the blankets. Maybe it was just general exhaustion, maybe it was the fact that this bed felt significantly more comfortable than her dorm room mattress, but she quickly found herself more at peace than she had been in a long, long time. Though they had been in agreement for some time now, Kelsey believed now more than ever that Tri was onto something. Under their current conditions, there was no sense in worrying. She had willpower, cool new friends, and an island to explore. Tomorrow was bound to be an adventure of a lifetime.
Somewhere in another plane of existence, an archdemon was smiling.
