The Wizard focused on Hammy, tossing him into the air telikinetically. Then, without a moment's strain, the Wizard ripped bricks out of the walls of the castle, swirling them in mid-air like planes in an air show. Pointing forward, the chessmaster launched the bricks forwards at all those who were trying to destroy Double D.
It wasn't Earthbending, but it did the trick.

Specter was on a roll, firing load after load of explosive psychic payload, and Otto was as well, running and easily dodging. "YAH!!!!!!"
Otto charged at Specter, whom clashed easily, and the two entered yet another fierce hand-to-hand duel. A right hook to Specter's gut, a stun club to Otto's face, the two held nothing back. Finally, Specter gained the upper hand, pushing Otto back with a burst of psychic energy. Otto did a backflip and landed back on his feet. He momentarily looked around, and saw Double D's current predicament. "Damn!!!"
Otto quickly jumped away from another burst of psychic energy, as Specter fired round after round.
Wally had seen it too, and was running as fast as he could to try and help. "Hang on mate, I'm comin'!!!!"
BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
A stray burst of psychic energy from Specter blew him backwards and the boy plowed clean into Hammy; purely by accident of course, but one doubted the villain would be too pleased about it.

Meanwhile, Gantz was running at a breakneck pace through the palace, successfully navigating the castles winding halls, confusing as they may be to some. "Sheesh, whoever decorated this place must've thought that people could distinguish between from things that looked exactly alike."
Soul Calibur looked at the hallways, the typical grimace on her face. "These hallways were created to be a trick of the eyes. Make one believe that their traveling in a full circle, even though the hall continues straight ahead." She sighed. "You're better off taking the next door you see. I sense an all out struggle going on nearby."

Nida shrieked again as the Wizard's flying bricks pelted her, knocking her over. Glancing off from her collapsed position, however, she spotted her prey, by now completely immobilized, just as she predicted. He was glowing very softly, though the light was steadily increasing in intensity. Now was her one and only chance!
And so she clambored upwards, legs disgustingly thrashing as she clawed her way to her destination. All attention was focused on the angel. Soon, very soon...!
"Look out!!" Raz cried after launching a PSI Blast Spector's way; best to fight fire with fire. "She's making a beeline for Double D!!"

(OOC: Bee-line? I could make a bug joke. But I'm too damned classy. I suggest you all do the same if you ever want us to get an articale on TvTropes.)
Without a moment's hesitation, the Wizard formed a psychic barrier around young Eddward. It was made in haste-- it would most-likely only last a minute or so. However, that was just enough time for the Wizard to annihlate all of his enemies-- one psychic attack at a time.
To begin, he stared at the so-called 'Lord' Nida, building up psychic intensity in his frontal lobe. Then, with a crack like thunder, the energy released in the form of a mighty beam, aiming straight as an arrow at the arachnid.

"I WILL NEVER LET YOU TOUCH HIM!" Felix shouted, raising his sword into the air as it began to glow with the legendary Twilight energy. "NOW FEEL MY WRATH! TWILIGHT DESTRUCTION!" The waves of energy shot out at Nida glowed a bright-orange color as the holy and unholy energies combined to create a devastating attack.

The two attacks looked like they may hit Nida, when...
"Oh no you don't!!!!!"
Well, putting it short and sweet, one second, Nida was standing in the middle of two powerful attacks. The next she was gone, and Wizard and Felix's attacks collided with each other with a loud boom. A few seconds passed... and suddenly Nida reappeared in the exact same spot she disappeared. "A little trick I learned from training." Specter grinned, as he easily overpowered Raz; Having an IQ of 2000 can do wonders in helping you win battles based on the mind. With a simple flick, he threw Raz away. "I learned it from an old enemy of mine."

Gantz sneezed a little as he pushed through some more doors. "Which one, which one..."
"JUST PICK ONE." Soul Calibur said impatiently. "I sense several powers somewhere in here; some are dark, some are light... Some angelic, some demonic." She growled. "It's NEVER good when those two mix."

Dolphi III rushed to Hammy's aid before he could be seriously injured by the battle. "Why does everyone in here have more powers than God himself BESIDES us?" Dolphi complained.
"Oh, shut up. I sense a powerful holy force outside this room, mixed with the body of a human. Holy force female, human male. Probably some guy who absorbed the power of someone else," Hammy said. "Unfortunately, there's about a hundred different heroes out there who have done that, so I can't give any specifics."
"Great. Wanna wait by the door so no one notices us so we can at least kill the guy who comes in?" Dolphi asked.
"Better than being ignored by everyone and their grandmum. Geez, just because I'm the God of Gossip and you're the ghost of a fish doesn't mean we suck... do we?"
"Don't make me answer that question."

"WAHH!!" Raz tumbled away, crashing into a wall.
"Ahh, WHAT!?! What the heck was that~! WAGH!!" Eddy fell back a bit when Nida, after flashing Spector a devious smirk, trampled by, knocking a few away. "OH HELL NO!!!" He zipped foward, grabbing one of her lags and digging his feet into the ground. The sheer momentum did cause her massive form to trip over, but she was quickly clamboring onward.
And as Eddy spotted his frozen friend, enveloped in bright light, he half-knew what was coming.
"HOLD HER BACK!! WE GOTTA HOLD HER BACK!! HE'S ALMOST~!!!"

Shadow looked to the side and saw Double D glow. "NO!" She thrust her hand out and knocked Shine away before quickly casting Ultima on all of the Super Children and the other heroes. "Evil will not be defeated! You will witness your friend's demise and I will feast on your suffering! Now die... die, all of you! PERISH INTO THE DARKNESS!"
"HOLY!" Shadow yelled as the burst of holy energy slammed her to the side. "You talk too much! Now... I will end this... even if it costs me my life... DESTROY THE DARKNESS!" The blast of holy energy was so great that it threatened to even destroy Shine by energy deprivation.
"Trevor. Help Felix and Masahiro defend Double D!" Minato called, then went over to Shine and called forth Opheus Telos. "Orpheus... let's keep her energized so she doesn't die!" The Persona nodded and laid its hand on Shine's shoulder, causing her to glow blue and keep the blast steady.
Felix, Trevor, and Masahiro ran forth, aiming each stab at Nida's face. One towards each of her eyes and another towards her mouth, as if to go in and cut through. And Trevor was the unlucky bastard who aimed for the mouth. Meanwhile, Shinichi was beginning to wake up.

Nida shrieked at the onslaught, her claws stretching and reaching out for the trapped angel. "NO...NO~!!!"
SHWIIIING![/b]
At a bright flash, one that enveloped the whole chamber in light, Nida let out a sharp howl, falling back as if struck. Others shielded their eyes, and a distinct sound reached their ears, like the cracking of thick glass.
The light died down around him as the crystal slowly broke off in pieces, tinkling upon the ground around his feet. Fully released (not to mentioned freed of the webbing), Double D swayed a bit before falling backwards, unconscious before he even hit the ground.
"D-DOUBLE D!!"

Felix reached out and caught his falling lover while Masahiro and Trevor continued to slice at Nida, aiming to keep her back while Felix fled. "Get him out of here now!!!" Masahiro had screamed and the others seemed to agree, so Felix was running through the castle, aiming to get out with his lover intact.

"You all talk too much." The Wizard said calmly, raising a hand as he ripped apart the very mollecules of the walls around them. "I'm afraid that neither good nor evil will triumph, especially with idiots who are stupid enough to broadcast their allignment."
As Felix made his excape, The Wizard began to reassemble the mollecules into a barrier to stop anyone who would try and pursue them. Now that Eddward's transformation was complete, the Wizard's plan would come into fruition.

"YOU GOT IT!!"
"Exit, stage right!!"
"NOOO!!![/b]" Nida shrieked, giving chase to the entire group. She knocked aside Hammy, Spector, and pretty much anyone who got in her way with her careless thrashing.
"...unh..."
"...!?"Riding stop Starjumper beside them, Skywise notcied Double D stirring. "Hey, he's waking up!"
Tired blue eyes opened groggily, lethargically getting a bearing of his surroundings. Apparently his beloved was carrying him away from danger, his friends dashing beside them, catching up to check on him themselves.
"Hello, Double D!" Ed greeted. "We're getting you away from the Spider Queen!!"
"You okay, buddy??" Raz asked.
"...enh..." Breifly, he struggled to speak. "...do I... still look like a...?"
"Monster?" Eddy grinned. "Hardly!"
Slowly, Double D brought his hands closer, finding his claws to be gone, fingers soft once more. He felt his own face, finally feeling normal again, and heavily relieved.

"GAH!!!!" Specter was momentarily knocked aside, landing on the ground with a thud. He was quick to get up, however, before he could move he noticed a presence moving through the room beyond one of the doors. Guarding the door was Hammy and Dolphi.
He frowned, 'Not yet. It's not safe... Just wait a little more.'
Specter sent this message to the being on the other side of the door, before quickly giving chase along with Nida.

Gantz got the message shortly after his hand tapped the door...
"Too dangerous? Why would he say that?" Gantz was starting to get a tad bit suspicious...
"Mayhaps, this friend of yours is waiting to give you an advantage." Soul said thoughtfully. Gantz gave the spirit a 'You're kidding right' kind of stare. "I take it this... Specter isn't a friend of yours?"
Gantz shook his head. "The day he becomes MY friend is the day Lord Voldemort discovers the meaning of friendship." Scoffing he turned to the door. "Still... There must be some meaning for Specter calling for help..."
"If he is an enemy, why listen to him?"
That made Gantz think a moment. "It's simple Soul, Specter may be a villain... But he wasn't always like that." A slight frown crossed his face, "Still... There's somethin' suspicious going on here..."
