"My. How touching." Danukas muttered. Backing into his own portal, he bowed to his foes half-mockingly. "Well, I'm off to tell everyone the bad news; that is, that Mr. Eddward is not among the deceased. You disappointed alot of people today, Eddward! Take that into consideration!"
His grin seeming to double in size, this relic of the past submerged himself in the swirling vortex of the portal. Mere seconds after he had, the portal closed abruptly, sucking in the air around it like a vacuum.

Soul Calibur looked otherwise unphased by the enemies that she was now facing. "Only fair to warn you dudes." Came Gantz's voice with inappropriate timing once more. "Little psychology lesson here; how do you learn how to use a weapon?
This brought on so many confused stares it wasn't even funny. "The answer to that question is training. Now I want you to put a good image in your head. Soul here has been put in the hands of some of the greatest warriors in the history of great warriors, some good, some not so good. But either way, she's been used by so many warriors that had to learn how to use her blade it wasn't even funny!"
"What my host is kindly trying to explain is; Many warriors had to train for years when ever they held me in their grasp. They learned specific styles to do so. They learned much of battle. A cold grin actually came on her face. "So don't you think it only makes sense that, if a sword is sentient, it will also learn the moves, and styles of warriors past?"
Such a fact sent chills down Otto's spine; with THAT much learning in THAT long a timespan, it could easily be conclusive one detail...
SMACK-CLASH-SLASH-TRIP-BAM-CLANG-BOOM!!!!
That Soul Calibur would be an undisputed sword master in her own right.
Soul Calibur was easily proving this fact, by parrying, thrusting, and generally out-fighting Fish-hook. She tossed Gantz's sword Fish-Hooks direction which implanted itself in the wall right next to his head. Then, using Gantz's magic, she actually flew (you read right, FLEW), through the air, pulled Gantz's blade out of the wall, and with the moment of surprise still in place, thrusted the sword clean into Fish-hooks liver.
[Which, of course, will not harm, nor kill the zombie fish. Before any of you say anything, I actually believe what I've brought to light would make a lot of sense; Soul Calibur been used by many warriors in many battles, so it'd only make sense, I think, that'd she'd learn a few things in return.]

Fishhook looked rather unconcerned with the whole "being stabbed through the liver" deal, which made sense, since he was undead.
And plus it seemed that Soul Calibur had ignored Hammy, instead going after the enemy in front of her.
Looking up at Gantz and Soul Calibur, Fishhook had no choice but to smile.
"EAT DOOM FIRE, OVERSHADOWER BITCH!"
Hammy jumped up from overhead, purple flames surging around his hands, and shot them at Soul Calibur, and then landed on the ground and started swinging more fire at her.
"Your kind is the worst kind of ghost! God, I hate overshadowers!" Hammy yelled as he swung his fire at Soul Calibur. "Why don't you just pass on to the afterlife instead of possessing some dude?!"

Double D only acknowledged Danukas with an indifferent glare, Percy still at his hip. Another organization wanting him dead. Not at all surprising at this point.
"He's right, ya know," Ed whispered to Eddy. "A few fighters have their version of Soul Calibur, shape-changed into their own weapons."
With this in mind, Eddy blinked. "...in that case, I think he's got things under control."

"My, Eddward; I assumed you would have stopped Danukas."
The Wizard's voice seemed to come from nowhere in particular. That is, until he appeared behind the Angel of Light, hands behind his back in a picture of collectivity. "Those people are mercilless. They'll kill people close to you just to know they've hurt you. It would have been neater to stop Danukas before he escaped."

"Let them come," he replied tensely, not willing to face the Wizard yet. "I can smell his aura a mile away." Finally, he turned back, regarding the Wizard firmly. He could admit, this particular being was unreadable, but that didn't mean he had to fear him. "And just to what end is your involvement in all this? Preserving me for your own plans of conquest, I'm guessing?"

Soul Calibur took the blows remarkably well, before batting the last fireball away back at Hammy. "I HATE UNDEAD..."
Gantz barely got that out before dodging another fireball. As Hammy continued to fire away, Soul Calibur closed the distance between herself, and him. "Ghost? I'm afraid you have it all wrong, you has-been god." She batted away another fireball, as she continued to close the distance. "Though I do Overshadow this host, I still have a greater amount of power then you seem to think I have. I was known as the 'miracle sword'. Get that? A SWORD. How can a sword die?" She batted another fireball away; which did I forget to mention all of them nearly BBQing Fishhook with each shot?
She gave Hammy a cold look as she came closer. "Allow me to share with you one crucial detail." Finally having enough, a burst of ice energy blasted out of her hand and sword freezing a fire ball into a block of pure ice just as he was about to throw it. It fell out of his hands and landed on the floor with clink. "I am no ghost, I am an entity of pure power, holy in essence. Out there, the form I took as a sword still lives, though none knows where to find it... I am not dead, just seperated from my husk." Hammy was just about to throw another fireball before Soul's hand found Hammy's arm gripping very VERY hard.
A deadly grin appeared on her face. "What do you know of my power... Ratatosk the 1st?" She had figured it was time to know the creature by his old name. "Do you know anything about Crystalization?"
... ... ... ... ... ...
It was with horrible realization that Wally and Otto suddenly saw Hammy's arm turn into a solid crystal, the transformation slowly going up and around his shoulder. "The power to crystalize anything the user so wants?"
[Hammy's not going to turn to pure crystal in this; you'll all see why later.]

"I know enough. About how it can turn a whole world into a barren wasteland. And about how you're doing the same to my arm." Hammy said, cringing from the pain of crystalization. "And there's plenty of ways for a sword to die. Being forgotten, being broken beyond repair, and its soul being exorcised."
Fishhook blocked each fireball with his hook, disappating the doom energy using the special properties of his hook.
"Since I'm going to die anyways, I might as well educate you on the undead, you crazy bitch," Hammy said as his arm crystalized. "There are several kinds of undead. There are wisps, who are just newly dead souls. You usually see them as floating blue or purple flames. Then there's ghosts, who are simply souls that have gained their old forms. Both of these can become Overshadowers if they choose. Fishhook over there is technically an Overshadower because his soul was forced back into his old body, but I don't mind him because he doesn't try possessing other people, plus it's his own body. Then there's Archghosts, like my friend Dolphi. They're unique because they have a true physical form, thus they don't need to possess anyone to interact with people, and not only that, but they are the only ghosts who can stay on the Dimensional Island. I don't know why, but I know this is a fact, because my friend Sunny disappeared when she came to the island with the rest of us, and she was just a ghost. But you're still here. And even though you're a sword, you obviously have a soul. But... you're still here and overshadowing someone, meaning that you're an Archghost. Do you have any idea how messed up that is? You could have left that body a long time ago, and yet you're still there. It may be coexistance, but you're still possessing someone. And that sickens me."
He paused, finally done with his monologue.
"And finally, I am a fuckin' god. I may be a has-been, but as long as I have followers and believers, I will come back, and when I do, I am going to kill you, you crazy bitch." Hammy snarled. "You got that? And I'm gonna do the same to the rest of you if I get the chance. This was my only chance to get whatever power I used to have back, and you all ruined it because that stupid angel sent his stupid distress message."

"Well fuck you!" Trevor yelled to Hammy, pulling his sword. "If that's how you feel about it, then it would be better for you to remain a powerless fool! Why don't you shut up, do the universe a favor, and fucking... DIE?!" Call it a surge of anger at the fact that everyone and their mother wanted them dead, call it anger simply to be angry, but Trevor was at his wits end and he was about to take it all out on Hammy. Charging at the has-been god, he began to slice at him with rage, screaming loudly.

Soul Calibur continued to hold Hammy, the crystalization on the arm almost completely permanent, Trevor slashing at Hammy repeatedly. "To your threats I say... Bring it on." Soul Calibur growled.
However, what happened next was completely unprecedented.
"SOUL!!! STOP!!!!!!!!!!"
Soul Calibur grunted when she felt a hand suddenly grab the arm she was using to crystalize Hammy. What was even weirder? It was the right hand, where Soul was using the left.
Soul Calibur growled at the boy, "What is this?! I'm ridding the world of one more pest, and you pick NOW of all times to grow a consience?!?!?!?"
Gantz was major league angry now, one couldn't deny that. "Soul, you can make me do a lot of things. But bad guy, or god or no, I am NOT about to become a murderer. He may come back, but I'll still have blood on my hands, and that's something I don't want."
Before Soul Calibur could react, Gantz pulled out his sword and parried Trevor's blade and pushing him backwards. It was strange but true, but that's what had happened. Gantz turned back to Hammy.
Gantz's voice echoed through the body, as the crystalization suddenly started to reverse. Maybe Gantz was naieve, but that was just how he was. "Do you wanna know why Soul Calibur is bound to my form?" He sighed before continuing. "Because I made a deal with her. I know it sounds like a dumb idea... But I had no choice..." Finally Hammy was freed, though Soul Calibur's grip remained rock solid. "A... A friend of mine. She's in a lot load of trouble with a demon and... Well... I turned to Soul Calibur for help."
Otto, Wally, and Double D's eyes went wide with surprise. "She... Promised me to help me free my friend, if I help her find her sword husk. I made her swear on the River Styx that she would help."
"If I recall," Soul said with a frown. "I would only go through with the deal when you get through yours. So don't think there will be results just yet. Taking down the Demon Him will not be an easy feet in our current state." She growled at Hammy. "But don't bother showing mercy to this deranged Chipmunk, he's not going to be thankful for it in the least."
... ... ... ... ... The name Him was what finally made realization come.
"It's..." Wally gasped.
"It's him..." Otto finished.
Gantz finally managed to force Soul Calibur to let go of Hammy. "Whatever, Soul I don't care! Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I'm not about to kill anybody."
"HE'S A GOD!"
"And again, I don't care!"

"..!! Him!" Double D gasped, glancing at Gantz in a new light. "You're the one he's exploiting!!"
"...okay, I'm lost," Eddy, Raz, and Fleetfoot commented all at once.
"Remember Him??" Ed piped up. "He mentioned a new guy and Soul Calibur!"

Losing blood quickly and all of that good stuff, Hammy collapsed backwards onto the ground in a puddle of his own blood. In truth, he was just as mortal as any Norse God. Of course, Hammy being a lying liar who lies, he wasn't going to mention this fact, especially not to his enemy.
"...You made a deal? Hmph..." Hammy said weakly. He turned to Fishhook. "Get me some bandages, stat." Fishhook crossed his arm-fins before running off to find some bandages and antiseptic.
Hammy, meanwhile, was listening in on the conversation.

Gantz was about to turn and heal Hammy when he heard what came out of the mouths of the two Ed's.
"Him?" It was made obvious that Gantz had regained control. "You know Him?"
Otto walked up to Gantz, taking the boy in. "We don't just know him." He frowned, displeased to sense a great power inside him, besides Soul Calibur; No wonder Him was so fascinated with him... "We had the displeasure to meet him."
A curious look passed Gantz's gaze as he took Otto in a moment...
"Is your name Otto?"
The Darkbender raised an eyebrow, though he looked surprised that this boy knew his name. "Y-yeah... How did you know MY name?"
Gantz lowered his head, almost looking ashamed. "We knew each other once... In your previous life."
... ... ... ...
"Previous... ... ... Life?"
"It's difficult to explain..." Gantz shook his head as he turned to Wally next. "Wally..." A tried and true smile actually appeared on Gantz's face, as he beheld him. "My truest friend. My first real creation."
... .. .... ...
That leaded, as it turned out, to confusion on Wally's part. "Creation... Mate?"
"Again, difficult to explain."
Gantz turned to the Ed's next giving them a small look. "Am I to assume that you are Otto and Wally's friends?"
Meanwhile, Specter was slowly pulling himself back up. He had taken a blow from one of the otherworldly flames and was knocked down, only earlier... ... He also appeared very angry, though he was doing nothing now.
