"...Ow." Hammy said, picking himself up off the ground after Nida started thrashing around. "Eff this. I'm not staying on the ground anymore." He flapped his wings and lifted into the air. Dolphi managed to avoid the attack by turning intangible.
Hammy noticed what the Wizard was doing right away. "I hate reality warpers, magicians, and the like. You're just infuriating me."
"Wow, Hammy, big words for once. What a miracle," Dolphi said sarcastically.

Running through the hallways, it didnt take long for the gang to realize that the corridors they were traversed looked very alike... TOO much alike.
"What on earth!?" Fleetfoot growled. "Is it just me, or are we running in circles!?"
"Th-the evil spirits of the castle...!" Double D gasped, still mildly recovering. "They're distorting the halls to...!"

They were all struck back when Nida sweeped in front of them from an upcoming corner in a surprise attack, snarling. Double D tumbled out of Felix's arms, and before he could stop in his painful rolls, Nida's disgusting claws launched forward and clamped on his throat, dragging him across the floor.
"DOUBLE D!!"
"NO!!"
The lad gagged as he was lifted off the ground and held in front of her, struggling to escape her grasp. She eyed him hungrily; lucky for her, he looked just as vulnerable for devouring, frozen in crystal or not.
"YoU... aRE MInE...!" she hissed, her mandibles cracking open and dripping with saliva...
...but looking helpless was far from actually being helpless. And she only released this when his eyes snapped open, glowing a whitish golden color.
Seeming in a trance, his hands drew away from his neck and tightly grasped her claws, and they breifly glowed the same color, but much harsher. Nida screeched, recoiling in pain, allowing him to drop back down to the ground.
"WHOA!"
"HA! Try eating him NOW, suckah!!"

Felix stood, ready to attack Nida with his love, but then a hand reached out of the shadows and grabbed his face. "DAMN YOU!" the voice of Shadow rang out from the shadows and, indeed, her enraged body was there, her eyes wide with madness. "YOU'VE RUINED EVERYTHING! SO CLOSE TO FINALLY SEEING THAT BASTARD DEAD BEFORE HE COULD COME TO FULL POWER... BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER! HE WILL DIE AND SO WILL YOU!" Now in all retrospect, this is where Felix would get blasted through the face and die... but in the time Shadow took to screech all that, Masahiro had run over and cut her arm off.
"Hate to attack a lady, but a bitch like you needs to be taught a lesson," he replied to the queen of Hell, who yelled angrily as she suddenly began to dissapear into mist. "What the... oh hell... she can create images of herself?"
"We can think of that later, back to attacking Nida," Felix said. Though he did look a little stunned at the near-death experience, his lover came first. Then they would discuss what to do with Shadow.

The Wizard glanced at Hammy, caring so little that it could be felt across the room. "Hmm. Some old, dying god. Nobody remembers your name. A god can't survive without worshipers."
Not even bothering to get a response, the Wizard reached out to feel around the castle. It seemed that Eddward could take care of himself for now. Excellent. Until the Prodigal Son was born it was important that Eddward remained alive.

Hammy smirked. "I have plenty of worshippers, even if they don't know they're worshipping me. It's not direct prayer, but it works." He stared at the Wizard, then at Dolphi, or at least where Dolphi had been. He'd turned intangible and tried to go out of the castle through the ground.
"You asshole! You're leaving me here with... whoever this guy is?!"
"Yeah, pretty much. I have a castle to work on building anyways, and followers to gather. See ya."
"You asshole."

Otto and Wally watched with wide eyed awe at the display of power that Double D was showing. "Whoa..." One could tell Otto was taking a mental note to train himself again VERY, VERY, thoroughly before challenging Double D to another Duel.
Wally's response, though silent for a moment, yelled and whooped like a dang fool. "YEEE-YAAAAHHH!!!! GO Double D!!! KICK THAT MISERABLE $ITCHES BUTT SEVEN WAYS TA' SUNDAY!!!!!!"
Specter, whom had just caught up, watched the scene with wide eyes. Rubbing his chin, he considered the scene before him... "Looks like some changes in strategy are in order."

Gantz was standing at the door, tapping his foot impatiently. "Specter... What are you making me wait for?"
Soul Calibur, strangely enough, remained silent, as many thoughts crossed her mind. All of the facts of this case worked it's way through her, the spirit sorting things out slowly but acurately. Gantz fingered the hilt of his sword; ever since Soul Calibur reawoke, the keyblade he owned, left his hand.
Apparently, the keyblades, a long time ago, swore themselves never to get involved in the war between Soul Edge and Calibur, and of course, Gantz didn't learn that till after Soul Calibur reappeared inside him. Back on topic however, curiosity was really starting to eat away at Gantz. "I'm tempted to just go through this door right now and find out what's going on here..."
"Maybe we do have a way of finding out and still following your friends request."
Gantz looked confused at this. After a moment, he frowned a little, "I'm listening..."
Soul Calibur turned Gantz's head in a specific direction. "If your willing to listen... The idea will be to take a slight detour."

"NOW!!! Go through the door now!!!"
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
By the time Gantz got this message from Specter, he was traveling as fast as he could through the halls of the castle, a good distance away from the door he had been eyeing, looking for the source of the extreme amounts of holy energy he and Soul Calibur had sensed.

Double D had collapsed on the floor, and at first, he was motionless. His pals hurried to his side, looking him over.
"Double D!!" Ed cried, shaking him slightly. "Wake up, Double D!"
"Relax, he's~!" Fleetfoot, as well as everyone else, did a double-take when Double D stirred, shakily trying to get up without a single moan.
"Whoa, hey!" Eddy tried to help him up, but he was terribly stiff. "You okay, Double~WAH!!"
They were all pushed back by the sheer froce that suddenly pulsed from him as he glared down his enemy, eyes glinting in righteous anger. He crouched down like an stalking jungle cat, his wings appearing instantaneously, and leaped off the ground with impressive momentum, launching himself at Nida.

"HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!" Masahiro yelled at the power being displayed by Double D.
Could he be the one the legends talked about?
"Wow... Edward's become so powerful... he could probably even hold his own against Goku, what do you guys think?"

Just before Double D could land a powerful blow on Nida...
ZAAAAAAAAAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A powerful lightning bolt like magic strike, zapped Nida pushing the Angel of Light back. Specter was so taken aback by this sudden strike, that a look of shock was on his face. Everyone turned to see what the cause of it was...
Every last person in the group was taken aback to see a young man standing near the end of the hall, firing the lightning bolt from the palm of his right hand... What was further shocking was the fact that his eyes and a mark on his right wrist was glowing a violent bluish green, like that of a crystal.
"Hello... Mistress Nida I take it?" Even further surprisingly, a cold female voice, resounding like a bell, and radiated with a great holy power. "You may know me as Soul Calibur; Eternal rival of the Soul Edge, and slayer of evil seeds such as yourself."
Suddenly, a male voice echoed out of the body "Or you can call us your worst nightmare!" A grin crossed the body, "Depends on your preference."
Specter eye's were probably even more wide then anyone else in that entire room, being the only person that recognized Gantz for who he was. With Soul Calibur in control, the spirit of the sword coldly reeled her hand to the left...
Before, with a mighty heave, slammed it to the right. Nida, being caught in the beam of energy, was slammed into the wall to her left, causing a portion of the ceiling to collapse on top of her, needless to say, it looked pretty darn painful.
[But of course, we all KNOW she's not done yet.]

Nida hissed at the onslaught, throwing the rubble off and crowing in rage. She was far from over.
After blown back, Double D had swiftly flipped in midfall and landed on his feet, hardly detered. That is, until he saw the newcomer, his eyes breifly losing their glow with the break in concentration. They weren't lying; there was a massive amount of light energy he was detecting from their aura... auras, actually. There was more than one entity inside that vessel.
After some thought, he hovered on over, landing beside the newcomer as they both faced Nida. "Am I right in assuming you're on our side?"

Masahiro saw that it was over for Nida... Gantz and Double D alone could overpower her and he had other business to deal with. So while their attentions were focused on the spider queen, her attentions focused on them, he made his way towards where Shinichi still was, just waking up.
The time has come... you've made a mockery of us for the last time, Shinichi.

(okay, I'll wait for Gantz and others before I continue with the Nida front)
Perceval watched the spectacle, so very happy that his Guardian Angel turned out alright thanks to their efforts. Not only that, it looked like he had complete control of the situation. How wonderful!
But out of the corner of his eye, he watched his lover separate from the group, approaching Shinichi. Instantly, Percy grew worried; was he... going to kill him?
"...Masahiro?"

Gantz grinned mischievously, though his body didn't follow this motion. "Well let's see, I just tackled the drop dead UGLY and CRAZY OLD BAT that was menacing you earlier... Gee so hard to tell that apart from good and bad." An echoing chuckle allowed Double D and the others to know he was only kidding.
Specter's eye was twitching at this point; That was without a doubt, the Gantz he knew all right.
"Forgive him angel of light, but my host insists on sharing control of this body, even when in this form." Soul Calibur intoned in embarrassment.
"Hey, I'm just looking out for ya Soul, no need to be so fussy." The male voice, suddenly looking interested turned to Double D, everyone could feel it. "Isn't your name Double D? From Ed, Edd, N Eddy? Wow!! I'm such a fan of your show! The name's Gantz, and my (Clears throat) 'friend' here is Soul Calibur. Course I just call her Soul for short."
Soul Calibur rolled her eyes embarrassingly at the moment of fandom Gantz let slip.

Now, Dolphi said to Fishhook. The zombie fish jumped out of the ground using Dolphi's ghost abilities, and came up behind Gantz/Soul Calibur, and hit them from behind with his fishhook. Dolphi came out from underground himself.
"That stupid Wizard trapped Hammy in the throne room, so you'll all have to deal with me," Dolphi said, chuckling. "Hey, Spider-Lady. You alright?"

Double D blinked at Gantz's little fandom. "I... I see."
"Hey, we're on TV?!" Ed gasped as if hearing this for the first time. "AWESOME!"
"...!" Double D noticed Dolphi, pulling Gantz away just in time. "...tch! More enemies, just what we need."
