Midori wiped away a tear. "R-Really? Okay, but you need to put on the gloves first!" The cosplay wasn't completely perfect until Kaini was wearing the gloves too. If she was going to have a perfect Lulu cosplay, then she was going to go all the way.

Kaini sighed and carefully made his way back to the bathroom. The gloves were where they'd been left, although the floor was still pretty much a disaster. He grabbed them and had to work at getting them on. They were a bit tight, although once he had one on he could tell they wouldn't hinder his movement any. He stepped back out of the room.
"How do cosplayers not kill themselves in these outfits?" he asked, his slightly off balance stance indicating he was talking about the shoes. Heels, wonderful. And he actually hadn't connected the shoes underneath the pants for the illusion of one piece that the art of Zero had.

"Practice!" Midori said. She grinned and stuck out her tounge as she said this before lifting up her own boots. "Mine are specially made so that they're not so uncomfortable, but the person who commissioned that one wanted it to be especially accurate." She sighed. "If you want a cosplay, you want it to be more like super-cool everyday clothes, not like some stuffy suit! But hey, it's cash."

"The suit isn't that bad, actually..." he said. It was a little snug, but it really wasn't. At least in terms of comfort, "Um, I've never seen that Code Geass thing you mentioned, so I don't know the character..."
He winced as he said that, hoping Midori would go the usual route and miss it. Thing was, he knew enough anime fans that he was well aware the can of worms he had just opened. He was probably about to get an otaku's version of Code Geass 101.

Midori stood up, and starting marking of major plot points.
"Okay, so there's this guy called Lelouch, except all his friends call him Lulu, and he meets this weird chick named C.C., and it's actually spelled 'C. C.', but they never say that on TV, and then C.C. gives him this awesome power called Geass which lets him control other people's minds! So then he gets some giant mecha and decides that he's going to obliterate his home country, but his friend, who's a foreigner, is fighting for the home side, so they have to fight a lot, and then at the end they almost kill each other. But they don't because there's a second season."

Kaini blinked. And tried to decode the speech. Even though the part after the near-squee was spoken more slowly, it wasn't by much. He wasn't following along very well. Well... at least he'd expected that reaction.
"Um.... okay.... so Lelouch is nuts...?"
And I'm wearing his outfit. Go me, Kaini's expression at this point was best described as "-.-"

Midori got into another huff.
"He's not crazy, he's brilliant! He eventually becomes emperor of his entire homeland, and then... oh whoops, that's end of the series spoilers. Never mind!" She grinned. "Well, anyways, he's amazing and really smart!"

Kaini opened his mouth, but wasn't sure he wanted to say anything. Saying something to the "obsess much?" end would likely upset Midori. Giving any indication he was interested would be just as dangerous in the opposite direction. So he stood there looking awkward for a few moments.
"Um... so... what did you want me to do, again?" he was finally able to get out.

"Stand there and look pretty," Midori said. She held up the camera. "Now give me a good frown, just like the ones you had before!"
Without waiting for a response from Kaini, she started snapping away.

"Wait... what?" Kaini responded, but Midori made no indication she was going to answer.
At least the camera flashes got a "good" response. Kaini was frowning. Although he was also wincing. She needed to warn him before she did that! As it was, it took him about sixty rapid clicks to adjust. He... obviously wasn't used to getting his pictures taken. His attempt at posing came off more like he was constipated.

Despite Kaini's obviously non-camera friendly expression, Midori continued snapping along, until she finally got as many pictures as she wanted. "All done! Alright, now time to boot my computer back up!"
Which would take a good ten minutes. Stupid bargain bin computers.

Kaini opened his mouth, but realized any comment on her computer was probably not a good idea. He was sweating in the outfit. He wondered what time it was. He had left the COMP in the bathroom, which probably hadn't been the smartest idea in the world. He remembered seeing it with the gloves, it had managed to not hit the floor.
"I'm going to go get my COMP," he said, hoping he hadn't stayed up the entire night.

"Okay then. Lulu," Midori said. As the computer slowly booted up, she looked through the pictures she'd taken. These really suck! Sorry K2, but I'm gonna have to post up some of the tub pictures too... Heeheeheeehee.
She'd been planning on posting those too anyways.

One could almost see the vein popping out on Kaini's head, "Kaini. K2. Hell, Slider is better than Lulu. At least Slider sounds like a guy's name..." the last sentence was more muttered than spoken. And being Japanese, the pun about Slider probably shot right over Midori's head. He didn't wait for a response as he walked into the bathroom. His feet were already sore.
He grabbed his COMP and opened it up. 2:43 AM. He yawned and put his hand to his face to try and stifle it. He really didn't want to sleep in the apartment of some girl he'd just met, but somehow he doubted she'd let him leave. Which... was a rather awkward thought. He facepalmed and sighed. As it was, he wasn't out of the bathroom and was missing Midori's... "fun".

The computer had booted up far faster than Midori had expected, but it would still take time for the files to transfer from her camera to the computer. Better get started...
