"Komaki-san, does this apartment have a washer and dryer?"
Kaini was asking from the bathroom, but was glancing over at the piled clothes in the corner. Oh, and the mess. He realized he should probably pick that up before doing anything else.

"There's one on the bottom floor," Midori said. "Watch your step! The stairs here are weird too. I think I stepped on one and ended up in a broom closet somehow once..."
She was finishing up uploading the pictures. Now to post them on her website.

Kaini sighed. He had no desire to lug the... once bloody clothes that far. But he couldn't in good conscious ask Midori to do it, even if she didn't know about the whole blood thing. Which meant he was stuck sleeping in these. He began picking up stuff off the bathroom floor and putting them where he'd thought he'd seen them. Not as accurate as he could have been with it.
"Um... do you think I could stay here... I mean... cause.... no place.. and...." he facepalmed and stopped talking. He sounded like a blithering idiot.

Midori looked back and grinned. "Of course you can, Kaini-kun!"
At the time, she was in the middle of typing a new post for her website.
Below the message were several image links, each of which, since she hadn't renamed them after uploading them, consisted of random numbers in the file name. If Kaini looked over, he wouldn't have been able to tell what they were from first appearances.

Kaini sighed. She'd either missed his statement or... when he realized she was humming to herself he realized she was just too distracted with things. He glanced out of the now cleaned up bathroom and realized she probably didn't even know she was humming to herself. Sounded like a theme he knew, actually, or had heard in any case.
"How long do you plan on staying up...?" he yawned.
(OOC: I say she's humming Moonlight Densetsu. The English theme was a reworded remix of the Japanese one, after all. Uh, Sailor Moon opening theme for the first four seasons/all seasons of the dub. It means Moonlight Legend.)

"Just a little longer..." Midori yawned. She hit send, and the post was added to her page, though she noticed as she did this that less people were visiting than normal. She supposed it was because of the lockdown, though it was more likely that since she was accessing and updating it from the island, only Islanders could be seen accessing it at the moment.
And, upon cue, she fell asleep at her desk, her face pressing against the keyboard.

Kaini sweatdropped. He... didn't want to take her bed. He didn't want to sleep in the same room as her. He walked over and tapped her shoulder, "Um... Komaki-san...?"
He reallyd didn't want to carry her to her room. God forbid she woke up and misinterperted something. And that was no name in vain right there, "...Komaki-san, your bedroom is over there..."

Midori responded by groaning and moving her head a bit to make it more comfortable on the keyboard. It almost seemed like she was used to sleeping like this.
In fact, if one looked into her bedroom, one would see that it was practically pristine, especially compared to the rest of the room...

"....Komaki-san...?"
No use. He sighed and looked at the situation from several different angles before finally deciding to grab the chair and push it towards the bedroom. It wasn't the easiest thing. It had no wheels and the floor had a light carpet. It was probably a bumpy ride, but if Midori woke up he could tell her to go to her room. This way avoided any mishaps from her shifting position while in his arms.
I never realized how much a pain in the ass being a gentleman can be...

Midori didn't seem to be bothered by the ride, though, considering she was still snoring away. She must have been a really heavy sleeper, considering at this point, her computer decided to let off several loud beeps. It seemed she had it configured so that it alerted her whenever someone commented on her website.

Kaini winced at the noise. He stopped and pulled his headphones on, turning his Mp3 player on as he did so. At least he could fall asleep to music he liked. Once he got Midori's chair into her room he quickly stepped out and closed the door. It probably would have been nicer to put her into bed, but... no. Just no. He yawned and all but collapsed onto her couch.
At least he had the music low enough only he could hear it. The way headphones are supposed to work. Before he could fall asleep he had to stand up and take off the cloak, preventing himself from chucking it across the room just barely. He swept it over the coffee table next to the couch and laid back down. He was asleep fairly quickly.

The next morning, Midori yawned and leaned to the side, causing her to fall right out of her chair and land very painfully on the floor. She groaned before climbing to her feet, rubbing her head as she did so. That had hurt. A lot. As she got up, she realized that she wasn't at the computer like she usually was.
Did Kaini-kun move me? she thought to herself. In any case, she grabbed her chair and moved it back out to the desk before sitting down at her computer. There had been a lot of comments overnight. That was good. It took her a moment to realize that there was something off about these comments.

It took a few keystrokes for Kaini to even come close to awake. He groaned and mumbled something along the lines of "five more minutes" in as perfect English as any American can manage in his state of not really awake. In fact, it was somewhat apparent it was better than his Japanese. Not that the island would make it impossible for Midori to understand, but the specifics of how that power worked seemed to make it known when a native language was not being spoken on occassion.
He went to pull covers over his head and got a handful of cape instead. He was probably lucky the cape wasn't made like his comforter. It was enough of a difference that he mumbled incoherently before opening his eyes... and promptly rolling right off the couch in shock.
At least it shocked him awake. And he gathered his bearings fairly quickly. He muttered more incoherent garble and pushed himself to his feet, using the couch for support. He was getting his clothes washed first thing and getting out of these damn heels. He suddenly had newfound respect for the way some women dressed.
He put his hand to his mouth in a vain attempt to stifle a yawn and looked towards Midori. He turned off the mp3 player as he saw the mixture of emotions, "Something wrong, Komaki-san...?" he said as he fought off a yawn, ending with a failure.

Midori shook her head. "I thought everyone knew about the lockdown. Izuna-san said that it was causing this big controversy too! Either my blog readers are all really slow or..." She cut herself off. "...Or the internet here doesn't reach back home."
Which, in a way, didn't make much sense, but it would explain why her COMP couldn't connect to the internet still. It may had been a modded COMP, but the internet browser was still installed.

Well, hello thar wake up call. Kaini's eyes widened as he thought for a moment, "I guess the implications are that this is a different world...."
He sat down and held his head. The last weak had been torture via his mom freaking out. The past day had been a direct nightmare. And now any doubts about this being a different world seemed to be gone. If Midori had messages, it meant this world did have connections, just not directly to their world. Which... meant he really had no choice but to do what God wanted. Not that he hadn't planned on it, but it seemed it would be the only way to get back home.
Which God had probably known. They said He worked in mysterious ways, but why was He offering to help him get back and no one else? He was sure he could get others back if they followed God. He glanced up at Midori. Which with her fandoms meant not her. He looked pained and stood up. Maybe he could talk her out of it...
"I'm going to get my clothes and go do laundry. Its still early..."
...so hopefully no one sees me like this.
Kaini made his way towards the bathroom to gather his clothes.
