"'K," Midori said. She groaned. So that was why her site hadn't been getting as many hits as it usually did. She stood up and grumbled. Well fine. It was time for her to make a video then.
"Kaini-kun! We're getting a webcam today!" she announced.

The color left Kaini's face. Okay, not that he had planned to spend the night here again....
"I.... I'm gonna be busy. I don't know enough about computers to help you with that anyway. Um... thanks for letting me stay...."
He looked at the door like one might expect a trapped animal to. He was wondering if it would be that rude to leave without waiting for a response. He had his clolthes in a trash bag, refusing to touch them. Oh crap. He'd have to return the costume.
"I can drop this off later..." he said, looking down at the outfit. He was looking forward to getting back into clothes real people wore.

Midori looked down. "Oh. Okay... come see me some time then! Or just send me an email on your COMP, that works too!" She gave a fake smile, the same one she'd been giving K1 since she had gotten to the island.
She really felt like she had been with K1... or rather what K1 should have been for a while. Sure, that outburst the previous night from Kaini had been a bit much, but he seemed pretty nice... and he didn't trust Naoya like K1 did.

Kaini didn't confirm that he'd heard her. He didn't want to make a promise that would have to turn into a lie. He adjusted the way he was holding the bag and headed out of the Apartment. He'd have the angel drop off the outfit. He hoped she wouldn't mind being asked to do that, but it would prevent Midori from roping him into some cam session. Which he had a funny feeling she'd try to do.
And there was no guarantee the costume would be as... tasteful. The color that had come back to his face drained again as he went down the hall. Perhaps a little quickly....
