Mounatin Romp (me, DCH and Gantz)

Feang rubbed his damaged jaw, spitting out blood in the process. Snarling at Enn, he scraped his claws together again, and FAST, generating some friction. Raising one of the massive claws above his head, he charged at the undead warrior with a Dragon Claw, with full intentions of using the friction-powered claw to tear him limb from limb.

Darknite made a powerful stomp, shattering the earth beneath Tua, Miles and Volcano. Too late to react, the three Pokemon quickly plummeted, though once they were almost out of sight, if one were to look closely, one could see the Luxio and Blaziken hanging onto the Feraligatr, the giant gator using a water attack to slow their descent.

Kaz/Takinom flew down after the Pokemon to try to help.

Meanwhile, the man continued to keep an eye on the battle from a safe distance.

Now Enn wasn't a genius, heck he wasn't even the most intelligent person in that entire group. He had his lack of actual human sentience to think for that...

However, if there was one thing Enn knew about, it was battle tactics. Quickly using what little brains he actually had, Enn quickly figured out three things; One, that attack would hurt quite a bit if it hit.

2; He couldn't help but notice as Feang came in for the kill, he came in at almost jet like speeds. Now, Enn was no rocket scientist, but he was pretty sure that if someone went THAT fast, it would be hard to both put on the brakes OR turn.

Number 3 came into the picture, adding up the other two factors together into a mixture that was both simple and pure genius.

Enn had transformed into his human form to dodge aside from an overhead swing, though it came at fast speeds; Fact #3 was that Feang, in his anger, had clearly broadcasted that it would be that it WOULD be an overhead swipe...

And, in that split second, he grabbed Feang's arm as it swung.

Completely using the momentum of the pokemon's attack, he tripped the creature off it's feet, and used the arm, as well as the pokemon's speed, and Enn's own power, to toss Feang up in the air. Simple laws of physics.

Of course this move was only completed, by Enn latching several powerful fire spells, ticking away like bombs, onto Feang before he got too far in his unplanned flight.

An explosion quickly followed, once Feang was a few feet away from Enn.

Leona stared in wide-eyed awe as she took that entire scene, which had been displayed and explained in slow motion in this post, in at full speed. "Whoa... H-He's good."

As Feang was caught, not only was his arm caught; his guard had also been caught. His eyes had gone wide, his momentum still built up in him. And he was totally not expecting the undead warrior to turn said momentum against him by chucking him up in the air like a Machamp would to its target when it uses Seismic Toss. And even less expected was when he felt those fire... things latch onto him.

He could only utter two words as he felt like those fire things were going to explode. "Oh f*ck..."

In the span of mere seconds, Feang was now like a fourth-of-July firecracker, and one could see the Garchomp's shape be blown into the horizon, swearing in what was presumably its native tongue.

Darknite merely gave a 'tch' at the sight and sound of Feang being blown into the horizon, before he turned to face Enn. "You're tough, I'll give you that... It makes this fight seem like it'll actually be worth something."

Enn merely stood up straighter, gave Darknite an evil eye, and pounded his fists together.

A sign that easily said, 'Take your best shot'. Sure he hadn't taken on opponents quite as big as Darknite before, [He'd faced a couple of giants in his time though that did not happen often] but he was ready for the challenge.

Leona meanwhile, continued to look in fear, though she was in awe at the warriors bravery. He almost reminded Leona of a stone-faced, serious version of...

That hated name never passed her thoughts. She had promised herself to move on, no longer think of him...

Back in reality, she looked to Enn with wonder in her eyes... At least before a thought occured to her...

Shouldn't she be trying to help?

Darknite merely crossed his arms, closing his eyes. He was deep in thought, asking himself something. "Why do we fight? It's engraved in the instincts of every creature that ever existed, some moreso than others. Many times I question why we have that instinct, and why it is so strong in me... one would think that after living for almost as long the islands I used to rule themselves, I would have learned to suppress it... But here I am, acting like a complete fool. Oh well, I'll make this quick." He uncrossed his arms and reopened his eyes a black blast forming in his mouth.

As Kaz/Takinom was heading down to the three Pokemon, a pair of gloves appeared on his hands. When he reached Miles, he grabbed him by the arms. The Gauntlets of Might battlegear card he just used would give him some extra strength, so as long as he wasn't carrying anyone excessively heavy, he should be able to pull them back up.

Enn felt mildly surprised at the energy readings he was getting from that beam attack. Somehow, he knew that this attack would've been enough to knock him out with a single attack. The very instant the beam attacked fired out, Enn had decided against trying to reflect the beam back at the beast, since the risk was too great.

So he did the next best thing; He jumped over the blast.

With an overwhelming kaboom, the beam blew up at the same spot he had been standing seconds prior, the shockwave hurtling him towards Darknite, fist raised outward when he got used to the momentum increase.

Darknite showed no change in expression, even as Enn was blasted towards him at breakneck speeds. He merely gave a shrug, then crossed his arms over his chest, kneeling down, ready to quickly counter when he saw an opening. "What is the meaning of fighting, this instinct that drives us to attack?"

The three Pokemon had landed on the ground safely, thanks to a well-timed Hydro Pump serving as a makeshift jet. Miles let a sudden relief on his back when Tua and Volcano quickly climbed off, allowing him to stand again. "Could you two consider going on a diet?" he joked, resulting in a quick glare from the other two. The Luxio then turned backwards suddenly, sniffing the air.

"Could it be...?"

A figure was quickly running into view, looking very much like Tua, except that it was a yellow instead of blue, black mane longer, with what looked like twin coolers on its back. It was her brother, Mheetu. I'll be damned if something happened and I don't know about it.

(OOC: Mheetu just came from the bar to assist the good guys in the East, though he's not aware of Kaz, Enn and Leona)

Enn wasn't the least bit deterred by the motion, he was ready to go completely all out.

WHAM!!!!!!!!

When at last his fist connected to Darknite's waiting, guarding arms, he quickly jumped away, as the creature gave out a counter swipe. This thing had some pretty solid defense, it seemed. With that in mind, Enn fired off powerful fire spells at the dragon, each one connecting though until the smoke cleared, it would be unclear if it did any real damage.

Meanwhile with Leona, she was quickly pulling out a spellbook from her backpack and looking through it at a breakneck pace. "Oh..! Where is that page?" She whispered to herself. After having a small conflict with herself, she decided to see what she could do to lend a hand. Maybe she would be able to do something...

Darknite swiped at the smoke created by the explosion, using one claw to clear it away, the other held idle at his side. He has was presumably the dragon version of an annoyed, irritated expression. He may have been classified as a comic relief character, but he fights like a serious one when he wants to. "Oh look, you've made me angry. You won't like me when I'm angry."

He held his claws together, a mysterious shadow forming in his hands. If one was educated in the shadow attacks of Pokemon, one would know that he was preparing a Shadow Panic, a confusing attack. As the shadow grew larger in his hands, Darknite slowly sank it into the ground.

"... I have every right to assume that you three got into a fight with Darknite and Feang. Don't ask how I know that. I'm getting up there..." Mheetu spoke, completely oblivious to the three startled Pokemon in front of him. Miles whispered to Tua.

"Your brother's a scarily competent guesser." The female Luxio merely nodded in response.

Enn was thrown for a loop when he saw Darknite's claw sink into the ground. Deciding to be careful, he put up his guard ready to dodge at a moments notice. This may be a tricky attack, it may not be, but darned it all if he was going to let himself be hit.

With Leona, she had finally found the page that contained the incantation she had been looking for, but she was distracted at seeing Darknite's odd move. "Wh-what in the name of Radiata-?"

Darknite, noting Enn's change in strategy from attacking to defending, decided to take a defensive stance of his own. The Shadow Panic could wait, he needed the undead warrior to be off-guard (if he was ever was) if he wanted the attack to work properly. "You're a cautious one, aren't you? Well, if one of us doesn't move soon, we'll grow old and gray here."

Running up the mountain, behind Darknite, and moving quite fast was a yellow and black lion-like figure, looking a fair bit like Tua. Mheetu didn't know how long it would take his sister and those two to recover from their fall (they were tough, but battle will aggrivate the damage more), and he'd be damned if he let the shadow Dragonite have his way. His tail glowed white, ready to strike with an Iron Tail when he found his opening.

Enn made no physical response to Darknite's statement, even though he had a solid point. He needed some kind of ace in the hole against this creature... But what?

With his mind in overdrive, he instantly came up with a solution. It was a risky one, in any case. The attack he had in mind would not only take a few seconds to charge, but charging it would leave him vulnerable. That was the one con of this move though, the rest of the list was taken by pro's. If this attack was successful, it could possibly take out the dark dragonite with one hit...

All he needed was an oppurtunity.

That oppurtunity came a second later.

"Um-uh- Sentellia ororo RAYTILITIA!!!"

Before the two could register that, odd, glowing 2-D runes appeared, surrounding Darknite...

They vanished quickly however, when the 2-D runes fired out beams of, what looked like non-elemental energy. Should the beams connect, they'd roughly feel like an energy beam version of a Mega Punch, a pretty tough attack in the pokemon world despite being of the normal element.

Darknite was suddenly looking around at the runes, and then the beams of plain energy. He could sense that they would hit in a way not dissimilar to a normal-type attack, which tended to be fairly powerful in most cases, and that neither of his two types would cancel out the attack, or even cut down the damage.

The beams struck home, knocking a very surprise Dragonite back a nice distance, very similar to a baseball player striking out of the park. "What the hell-!?"

And that statement was cut short when a glowing white tail slammed into his backside, Mheetu playing the role of a batter swinging at a pitch. "I hope you've got friends in the horizon!"
