Enn was thrown off guard at the runes, before he quickly turned to where the voice that had seemingly cast them originated. Standing there, Leona was trying to stop hyperventilating, hand pointed outward, making one theorize she had been the one behind the runes. Enn would’ve grinned if he knew how; Just like the princess… If she WAS the princess he remembered.
But still, with Mheetu on scene, Enn saw his opportunity.
Changing into his giant skeleton form, he drew his arms in, and appeared to start charging energy…
Leona jumped out of her panic attack when she took notice of it. “Wh-wha-?!” The energy was pretty high at this point… And it was steadily rising…
Enn would’ve grinned if he knew how. Just three more seconds now…
[So you know the attack that’s coming is, like, the most powerful in Enn’s repitiore. In the original Guardian Heroes game, it was a move you used only if the player is desperate and completely surrounded by bad-guys, and was capable of clearing the ENTIRE SCREEN of enemies. If that doesn’t give you an idea of how tough this move is, I’ll slip you guys a youtube video of said attack on my next turn.]

[Man, I don't want to mess with Enn. That sounds painful (to say the very least), considering what his non-desperation attacks can do]
Mheetu made sure to jump out of the way after practically using Darknite for batting practice, sensing that something big was about to strike the 'baseball'. "See you around, hope you'll drop by soon! Kicking your ass never gets old!"
Darknite closed his eyes, and braced himself for the inevitable blast that was sure to hit him in just a few seconds.

In a sense, Mheetu was pretty wise to jump out of the way, Leona was just as wise, ducking behind the rock in panic. It wouldn’t have mattered if Darknite DID defend himself, this next attack was GONNA HURT.
After the last three seconds of charging took place, Enn threw his arms out to the side, and let out a loud guttural roar. “GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
What happened next was both an eye-opener, and a total ‘OH CRAP’ moment for Darknite.
In that single second, an orb of fiery energy blasted out of Enn, encompassing everything around him and growing steadily bigger at a fast pace. Leona was spared due to the rock, and Mheetu had just managed to get out of the way before the orb of explosive energy could claim him as well, when at last the energy absorbed Darknite, it felt roughly like getting singed by a mixture between the Blast Burn and Fire Spin attacks, both pretty dangerous moves all and all. Darknite roughly spent 20 seconds getting singed in the fiery orb before the orb suddenly started to ‘push’ as it were. And due to the force of said attack, said ‘push’ felt more like being strapped to a space shuttle and getting sent flying off in the rocket’s blazing turbine.
Putting it simply, when the attack was over Darknite was nowhere to be found, and an area maybe 40 feet all around the skeleton was scorched black…
And Enn was kneeling on the ground in human form, looking like he was catching his breath. That was another con to the move he had just used, he was significantly weaker in his current form, and said attack took a lot out of him…
But, it was worth it, the enemy was gone, and he and his friends were no longer in danger.
From where she had been hiding, Leona shakily looked over the rock. The rock had acted as her shield, shielding her from the effects of the attack itself. Though that didn’t mean Leona’s glasses were now blackened slightly due to the smoke…
“What… W-w-w-w-w-what j-j-just h-h-h-h-h-hhappened?” Well of course she was scared. Who WOULDN’T be?

Just because Mheetu had jumped out of the way doesn't mean that he was totally spared, as he was now covered in ash, making him appear as a black and dark gray Luxio, fur covered up and hiding the shininess. He coughed up a fair bit of smoke, even Volcano's Blast Burn didn't do that much damage!
He decided to walk up to Enn and Leona, all the while wiping off his fur. He's going to have to wash that off when he finds the next body of water. "T-Thanks..."

Enn merely nodded at the Luxio, and pushed himself back up to his feet. It seemed to take him a moment, but he appeared to get strength back in his legs enough to stand on his own.
Leona had to take a moment to clean her glasses, before responding. "D-don't thank me... Thank... Whoever this man is." She motioned to Enn. "I... I really didn't do all that much."
Enn looked to Leona, as if he was confused. Wasn't she the girl that knocked Darknite off balance with that odd magic attack? Thus giving Mheetu the chance to attack?
Leona appeared to finish cleaning off her glasses before finally putting them back on, allowing her to take a better look at their visitor. "I hope the others are okay... They were sent falling through that big hole in the ground made by that dragon looking monster." Leona shuddered; yet another bad memory made that pertained to a dragon...

Mheetu looked at the hole that presumably had been created by Darknite before he had made it, and sighed at it. He turned to the undead warrior and the girl, still dusting himself off. "You mean Miles, Volcano and my sister? They're just fine... Well, okay, they're dazed from the fall, but then again... they've taken worse injuries." Licking his paw and now brushing off his head and mane, he spoke again. "I'm Mheetu, and who might you two be? ... And before you ask about Poke Balls, I'm pretty much indifferent about humans."

Leona hadn't been about to ask about Poke-ball's since she had all but forgotten about them, given Tua mentioning them happened before that... Brawl. "Well... I'm Leona... Leona Weissheit, I’m from a kingdom called Radiata, though I don’t know why I’m here…”
Enn looked like something caught his attention, before he walked off to his right. Seeing as how Mheetu likely watched Enn walk off, Leona cleared her throat. “Um… As for him… I’m not really sure who that warrior is… All I know is that he wants to help.” At the confused look, she shrugged. “Or at least, that’s what I can get from how he’s acted when we met.”
The reason Enn had left Leona with Mheetu was because something appeared to catch his attention in the rock wall that pricked his energy senses. Odd that he never noticed it before… Likely his energy bomb move dug away at the rocks, making it easier to feel…
After a moment, Enn seemed to decide on a course of action; Using his right hand, he lightly dug away at the rock wall, hoping to find out what it was that fascinated him so…

Mheetu's ears perked up a bit at the sound of the digging, and as he looked over to Enn, he saw the undead warrior digging at the rock wall that had been destroyed by his massive attack. He ran up to Enn, wondering what he had noticed. "Could it be what's hidden here...?" he said mostly to himself.

Leona walked up next, curious as to what was going on. "What... What is it?"
Enn looked to Leona a moment before he continued to scratch at the wall a moment...
Finally, his magic senses peaked once more, this time, his senses were through the roof...

Mheetu suddenly felt his entire body perk up, springing to attention, as if a silent voice had called out his name. He was just a Luxio, a Pokemon not well-known for its sixth sensing ability (the Psychics and Ghosts were known for that), so if he had sensed the magic energy coming from the wall (and hopefully, what he came out here to help them look for), it has to be close, or powerful. Or both.
If one could see from Enn's view, a small piece of a square-shaped piece of rock, crystallized to perfection with the green image of a bonsai engraved into the center, was coming into view as he scratched at the rock wall.

Enn's flat look seemed almost... in awe at the power that was shown before him. Was this the sacred artifact that Miles and the others had been seeking on this mountain? After a moment of scratching away at the wall, the Mountain Shard was in full view now, ripe for the picking.
Leona made her way up next to Enn, to have a look at what was causing her magic senses to go absolutely NUTS. "O... Oh my..." She was in awe, which wasn't really a surprise. Leona had read about several power sources in her time, but never ONCE had she actually seen one in person. "It's... It's so... Remarkable..."
Enn only nodded at Leona's comment... After a moment, the undead hero turned into it's skeleto form and, almost hesitantly, reached to the wall... After a moment, the bony but powerful hands grasped the object...
And, with an effortless yank, the stone was pulled loose from the rock. Leona stared at the stone as Enn held it at her eye level, changing back into his human form. "Wow........."

Mheetu's eyes went wide, and at the moment was grateful for his poor magic sense, otherwise he would have fainted on the spot as he stared at the shard. It was the real deal! The genuine article! "That's... That's the Mountain Shard, one of the sixteen shards I'm sure my comrades had been seeking here... You've found it!"

Enn would've smirked if knew how; Mission accomplished.
Leona smiled widely at the sight of it. "C-cool!" She appeared happy as a clam that the power source had been found... After a moment though a thought crossed her. "Um, excuse me... Sir?" The Undead Man turned to Leona, tilting his head. "M-may I see that stone a moment please?" Enn appeared to shrug, before dropping it into her waiting hands.
Leona held the stone carefully, holding it like it was the most precious thing on the face of this planet... which it likely was in this case. Looking at it carefully, she seemed to try and figure something out... After a moment, she appeared hopeful... "M-maybe if I find more like this... I could find a way home!" Oh yeah, she was definately hopeful.
Something this powerful HAD to help somehow!

Mheetu nodded at the sight of the shard, and would have reported back to base had he remembered to bring his communicator. Aw well, what can you do when the decision to come here comes at a whim? "This is Mheetu of Team SOS, reporting in to call this mission a success." He said to himself, and then spoke out loud.
"There's another shard down by the Koi River, and we'd probably do ourselves some good to check on those three."

Enn seemed to jump to attention having heard that. With that, he turned to Mheetu, the face of his human form looking quite stern. Leona meanwhile, placed the Mountain Shard in her back pack. "Oh yes! I had almost forgotten that there are 16 of these shards and 4 relics."
Enn nodded, remembering as well. Then, with not a grunt, he walked ahead of the others, bound for Koi River. "Hey wait for us!!" Leona took off after him, and quickly caught up. "Hey, mister?" Enn looked down to the girl, raising an eyebrow. "You know, it's just come to me that we never caught your name."
Enn thought about this a moment. She did have a point...
As the scene closes up, and goes dark, a deep, dark voice, scratchy somewhat, but definately hadn't been used in who knows how long could be heard.
