"Alright. I'll head around Void City's decimated hospital in a bit. Uno, try not to horridly injure yourself." It was at this point that he chose to lace his fingers together, his horrid, horrid smirk returning.
"So are we agreed on the competition?"

Uno paused mid balance to look at Dexter. She hadn't heard him clearly. Of course, this meant the sudden jerk when she heard Mandark address her ended in the most horrible way. The chair did indeed tilt backwards and Uno's head bounced off the input console for that part of the lab. This was all before the spectacular spill onto the ground. Had she been human, she probably would have broken her neck. As it were, however, she just burst into lightly pink tinged digitial distortions.
Which, let's be honest, had no chance of being missed by Dexter. The distortions flickered and took a vaguely Uno shape. She seemed to be trying to reform, but she generally wasn't good at the whole "change form" trick. A few of the weakest machines in the lab, such as some incomplete programs and such, flickered. They seemed to be struggling against forced shut down.

Dexter nodded to Mandark. "Yes, fi~!" He swiveled quickly at Uno's fall, watching her fall into digital pieces. "Wh-what~!?" He shot out of his chair. "Mandark! Do something! What's happening to her!?"

At this point in time, Mandark felt the need to allow his face to slowly ease into the palm of his right hand. A less violent facepalm, one might say.
"Uno, DO try to stabilize yourself, if you would." He sighed, rubbing his temples. The moment was, in all senses of the word, ruined. Some of those incomplete programs that were struggling were pretty important. Ergo, a copy of version 2 of Rambo.exe that he was currently working on.
"Isn't it obvious?" Mandark seemed to suddenly notice Dexter's response, glancing up. It was obvious to he himself, so... he ASSUMED Dexter knew what was happening. He would, of course, lord his knowledge over him later. At a less awkward moment.

Uno finally managed to regain her human form, the worst effect being a bit of lost data in some of the programs. She looked to still be in some pain as she sat up, holding the back of her her head. It was really not a good thing at this point that Mandark had shut down direct access to his cameras. It was a given that his Computer would lord this over later. As it was, an Arabian Haremgirl-like "angel" landed in front of Mandark's lab. It would be clear to those that could sense auras she was nowhere near an angel, or even that variety of supernatural. She quickly shifted forms. What stood in front of Mandark's front door was what appeared to be a Japanese high school girl. The only truly noticable fact was the way her right arm was badly scarred. It looked to be a result of burning, complete with the "melted flesh" appearance. Her pointer and middle fingers were missing, supposedly lost in the same accident. Mandark probably heard the blipping of his electronic lock, but the true surprise likely came when the door "shwinged" open. Said Japanese schoolgirl marched in like she owned the place. "I require the use of this lab," she stated. She sounded dead serious and her eyes were rather harsh. Uno blinked a few times and turned to Mandark, "Do you know her?" (OOC: NN1 - I don't know jack about Fusion Fall, and Jilak doesn't know much more, but the mere fact the meeting has been interuppted by creatures known as "doppelgangers" is something we could possibly use in a plot. I don't know if you even use ANY FF as canon, but its something to keep in mind. ANd yes, creatures as in plural. As Mr. Copycat and Cody'll be showing up soon-ish. X3)

(Nice. XD Makes sense. GAHHHH How do you kids know all this tech stuff? You're making me feel dumb XD)
Dexter cleaered his throat. "O...of course," he replied to Mandark, sitting back down and regain his composure. Not his most proud moment. He understood the concept of digital stalizing after a crash, yes; he just didn't know it transcended into the real world so easily.
Thankfully, he was taken off the judging stand when the strange girl stormed in. Still, he remained seated. This was Mandark's lab, he could defend it himself. And if not... oh well.

Well, that was... odd. Some random female bursting into his lab. It was a better alternative to Zero being back, but still. Didn't these people know PRIVACY?
"No. I don't know ANYONE who storms into my lab unannounced." Mandark grumbled, getting from his chair.
"And exactly WHY should I allow you use of my lab?"
(OOC: ...well, to be honest, I'm preeeeetty much winging it. >___>)

"Because I'll kill you if you don't, and then use it anyways," the truly scary part was how flat the response was. She planted her feet and glowered at Mandark. She didn't want to take her full doppel form unless she was forced to, but she wouldn't not take it either.
Uno paled a bit and scooted back away from the door. If Mandark had any people reading skills AT ALL, he'd realize the girl was sincere in her intentions. As for Dexter, she was ignoring him for the encounter but knew where he was and would react poorly if he tried anything.
It was almost humourous. This Japanese teenager was around a full foot shorter than him, but she looked like she at least felt she could kick his ass.

After some time, Mr. Copycat had managed to catch up to Ms. Tachi. It was somewhat miraculous he had made it this far with his bad leg; he had to leave his cane at home because he had given Cody a piggyback ride the whole way there. The boy was still passed out on his back, though.
In any case, it was a good thing he had managed to make it inside at this time, as it looked like a fight was about to break out.
"Hi... I--er, we need your lab," Mr. Copycat said. He was leaning against the doorway, in order to keep himself balanced. "My son needs help."

Dexter blinked. Things were only getting stranger and stranger with every... stranger that entered the lab.
"Er... that's fine, but there is no need for your friend to threaten us."

For a few moments, Mandark was silent. He mulled his options over, and such. On the one hand, he valued his life very, very high. On the other hand, he wasn't entirely sure what she needed his lab for...
...until Mr. Copycat walked in, mind you. That tipped his favor more in the 'let intruders use my lab and perhaps reboot Computer'.
"...fine. Everything you need should be down here. There's a chemical room straight down and to the right if it's a necessity." Mandark said, grimacing ever so slightly. And then he turned to Dexter.
"This... isn't a good example of usual happenings in my laboratory." He chose, with good reason, not reboot Computer yet. Didn't need any more blows to his sanity at this moment.

Momoko relaxed a tad and looked towards Mr. Copycat, "I should have it done in half an hour," before quickly walking towards the other room. Uno watched her go and felt the electronic lock get switched. The girl obviously didn't want intruders.
She looked over at Cody, who was unconscious. The man had called him his son. She glanced at Dexter, than to Mandark, before walking over, "He's gonna be okay, right?" she asked Mr. Copycat. It was somewhat clear she was nervous, although as to why... that was completely muddled.
She was nervous Mandark would say something about her worry for the boy, actually. Same old concerns.

Mr. Copycat sighed. "We can hope, can't we?" He looked around the room, searching for something to lay Cody down on for now. "Mr... um, Susan, I think they said your name was... Do you have somewhere I can lay Cody down for now? And possibly something like a walking stick? I don't know if you noticed, but I have a bad leg."
He was using his old "I have a bad leg" excuse again. Well, it wasn't like he could go around saying, "I have an allergy that gives me headaches, makes me have asthma attacks, makes me too weak to stand, and it's all because I'm around birds all the time?"

"I can tell," Dexter replied to Mandark, watching Momoko skulk into a private chamber for her work with a raised brow. This was quite indeed a strange turn of events. But at least it had waited until AFTER their important information trade. It was important in this world, Dexter had learned, to keep certain information classified to certain individuals... especially strangers.
Even at this seriousness, Dexter covered a snicker with a purple gloved hand at his archnemisis' alternate name.

A pause. Followed quickly by a twitch. Followed quickly by a frustrated motion of sorts.
"First. My correct title is MANDARK, not... 'Susan'." Mandark grimaced at mention of his true name. And today was going so well, too...
"Second. I should have a table around here somewhere, usually used for repairing my robotics. Quite comfortable, I'm told. You could, one would assume, use the old gear shift laying next to it as a walking cane. It was too long for a vehicle, see. It should suffice. And as for YOU," Mandark pointed an accusing finger in Dexter's direction, "Do keep in mind that I could have my robots attack at any moment. Uno, show no remorse for the commoners." He finished with a sigh.
