For the first time since arriving on the island, Zero seemed truly interested, "That could be extrodinarily handy."
He nodded to himself, "None of these computers could hold such a massive program. However.. you see that building over there?" Zero pointed past Chip to where he had been heading in the first place, "I think it's got more processing power. Might be able to take it."
Zero was aware of Bashton, but didn't see the need to acknowledge his presence at the moment.

"Okey-dokey! I'll be right back, then," Chip said. He ran off towards the shack where he had set up the mainframe.
A few minutes later, he came back carrying a rather old computer. It was attached to a sort of golden, heart-shaped stone in a jar. The stone seemed to be powering it.

Bashton just looked at the odd heart-like object.

Zero's eyebrow raised, "What kind of computer is that?"
Back when Zero had been "born", science had created all sorts of things. They could store living creatures as data, conduct trades of this "living data" from around the world, store items, and mundane things like keeping records and running systems. But this was a new one. The closest thing Zero could come up with was the gems some systems of his original world used to power long distance trades.
There was significant power coming from it. Which mean significant data. Which mean the disaster caused from crashing it could be rather... fun. Although accessing other dimensions really was more useful at the moment that blowing up complex systems. Zero turned to Bashton momentarily.
"People are going to think you're dead if you don't speak up more, you know."

"It's just a normal computer I hooked up to an external power source," Chip said, shrugging. The power source itself was exterting a lot of non-electric energy as it was, and every now and then, it would "thump", like a real heart did.

Bashton chuckled as he stood up straight and walked toward the two and replied, "Well that's one of the reason's my last name is Necro." He just looked at the heart for a moment before looking at the computer then saying, "That "external power source" of yours seems like a artificial heart if you ask me."

Zero turned to Bashton, "It's giving off a lot of energy if that's all it is. That computers putting off more than it should be capable."
The "man" walked off without explanation. He had already explained they needed to go to the large building. If the two humanoids with him didn't follow him, it wasn't really his problem. It did seem a bit like he was ignoring them, though.

Chip took a look at Bashon and smiled. "That's because it used to be someone's heart. Before I took it, anyways," He then started following after Zero, heading for the building.
"Hmm... it might have been a better idea to go inside that building before instead of trying to use all of the computers around here instead," Chip mumbled to himself.

"Joy, now people are using organs as power sources for technology." Bashton said carelessly as he looked to the side of the building remembering where the shadows are as he continued to follow Zero.

They quickly reached the building. It had looked further away than it actually was. Zero pulled on the door and frowned. Had to be the only building in the area with a working lock. He leaned over and saw a keypad. Electronic lock, that was perfect.
He turned towards Bashton and Chip, "If you'll excuse me for a second, I'll get us inside."
And with that he basically "melted" into what looked like a digitally distorted cloud of... air. The distortion drew itself into the lock.
(OOC: XD The reactions to this oughtta be fun.)

Chip's eyes grew wide when he saw Zero turn into basically living smoke. "Oh. Cool." He looked down at the computer he was holding, and then looked at his leechsleeves. "Gadget, could you hold onto the computer for a bit?" he asked the right sleeve. It nodded, and then pulled the computer into its mouth. "And I swear to god, if you eat it again, I'm going to kill you." He sighed. "I never had these problems with Dale."

Bashton just watched this with no reaction, since well he can disappear into shadows.
(what reactions?)

The door popped open. Out of the shadows of the inside of the building stepped... Zero. He cracked his knuckles as he pushed the door the rest of the way open. The inside was covered in computer screens. Most of them seemed to show various parts of the island like some "Big Brother" security system. Data scrolled across other parts of the screens. A lot of it was code, but some of them seemed to list stats and such.
Zero pointed into the room with his thumb, "Someone seems to be keeping an eye on this world. This room isn't even where the majority of the data is stored. I feel more power coming from upstairs," he turned to Chip, "More than enough to open portals. But the security system was terrible. Didn't even have to try hard to fry it."
What Zero didn't say was that his little security break in had activated a silent alarm. Whoever was running the operation was certainly aware of the break-in. Zero was known for leaving out details others would consider important. He didn't care. He had actually tripped the alarm on purpose. It would be far more fun to mess with the system if the creator knew about it.
It didn't mean he wouldn't help Chip. It just meant he'd have an audience. Which was more fun, anyhow.
(OOC: I've alerted another RPer about this. I think his character will be perfect for this set up. XD)

Chip stared at the screens. "Once the transporter program is done, would you help me destroy the surveilance program? I don't like being spied on."
He gave Zero a look that was hard to interpret the meaning behind before heading upstairs to transfer the program. He'd have to rebuild a lot of it from scratch, but it was better than having to hope the Philosopher's Heart could support all of the programs at once. If he had a true Stone, this wouldn't have been as troublesome, but of course she had to screw things up by leaving it inside her when she was returned to normal.

A scowl appeared on his face. He'd been discovered. This was not part of the plan. At all. According to his silent alarm, one of them had also virused his systems. It'd be a pain to get rid of, he knew. It seemed almost... sentient, even. The explosions from earlier had led him to believe that someone was here... but now he knew. And he didn't like it.
And then he heard footsteps. A... thing, walked upstairs. He didn't have time to decipher what it was, nor why it's sleeves looked so odd. At the very least, his surveillance cameras inside the BUILDING were still working.
He spun his chair around, reaching for the null void projector at his side. He held it forward, calmly. The first thing to have come into view would've been his abnormally large head. Maybe even the 'M' given to him from his faulty bowl cut. Perhaps next his cape would be visible, followed by his brown suspenders, black shoes, white shirt and his tie.
Yes. Staring Chip down was the boy known as Mandark.
