Kisa looked worried at Akina's smile. Do what she had to...? She didn't want to get him hurt, and she really didn't want him to lose his body. She still wasn't quite sure how she had forgotten about Gin, especially given the explanation. So that was Gin's body? It didn't seem likely Enjin had effected her memories. For one, she was sure she'd... well, she did know something was missing. But he'd seemed confused before, hadn't he? About her not remembering?
"Are you two done," stated Mokuba.
"Oh, I am sorry! Um... Kaiba-san, I don't know where your brother lives. A lot of people who come to the Island get apartments, so it is possible he has a place there."
"Niisama wouldn't stoop to a normal apartment! And what did you mean by Dimension Island?"
Kisa looked around nervously, "It is a bit hard to explain. You see, there are multiple universes and this is a place where sometimes people get dumped. Are you new here as well?"
"Niisama and the others were in a cave-in, but those stupid jackasses from Industrial Illusions couldn't find their bodies inside! I don't know how I got here, but you said you saw Niisama!"

Akina glared at Mokuba as he butted in. This kid really was impatient, and his attitude was starting to get on his nerves. He could tell Mokuba was looking down on the two of them, too.
That particular company name sounded rather sinister to be honest, too. Industrial Illusions... Well, that was worrying.
"Hey, aren't you a little young to be using that kind of language?" Akina said to Mokuba as he continued on. That kid was really insistent on finding his brother. The two of them must have been rather close. If this was what Mokuba was like, though... Akina REALLY didn't want to think about what his brother was like.

Kisa paused for a bit and then gave a kind smile. Mokuba gave her a funny look and a nasty glare as she walked closer to him. She crouched down (which took a bit of effort, she was in a dress) so she was on his level. He was glaring still.
"I am sure your brother is fine, Kaiba-san. I've only met him a few times but I am quite sure he is able to take care of himself."
For a moment, Kisa's expression had faltered. No, she wasn't sure of that. Not after those snakes Enjin had... done whatever he did to. But Mokuba seemed to relax a bit with her words, his expression becoming more bitter than angry. He jerked away from her and scowled at the ground.
"I know that! I'm just worried about him!" Mokuba stopped for a moment, and then turned towards Kisa, "Hey, have you met anyone named Mutou Yuugi? He'd probably be with some others... um, Mazaki Anzu, Hiroto Honda, Bakura Ryou... uh, this idiot named Jounouchi Katsuya...?"
Kisa blinked. Well, Mokuba had mentioned a cave in, "I haven't met any of them... but could they be at the apartments? If your brother knows them, they might know where he is."
Mokuba looked like he was thinking about something, "Yeah, maybe... I don't know where the Apartments are though..."
Kisa's smile became more genuine, "I do, and I can take you there. Okay, Kaiba-san?"
"Call me Mokuba," Mokuba stated. He rolled his eyes, "Niisama isn't very likely to let you use his first name, after all."

"Do you mind if I come with you?" Akina asked. "I'm not really sure how to get around here, either, and I should probably look into getting a hotel room or something until I figure out how to get back home."
Hopefully getting back home wouldn't be too hard. He couldn't spend too long here on this Island, not with the Seven Pillars about to bloom, but he sure as hell wasn't trying the method he had used to get here in the first place to get back.

Kisa stood up and gave a worried look towards Akina. Could he come with her? She hesitated a moment longer before nodding. It would be rude to say no, but she was still worried about Enjin.
"O-Of course," she glanced at Mokuba, "Mokuba-san, can we go to the hotel first?"
Mokuba sighed, "There's no guarantee we'll find Yuugi-tachi at the apartments, so fine."
"I'm a little worried about getting out of here, though. I was almost attacked earlier. I don't wish to be rude," Kisa was looking towards Akina, "But are you capable of fighting?"

Akina nodded. "I may just be a normal human, but I'm perfectly capable of fighting."
To anyone who knew Akina, that "normal human" line was absolute crap. After all, he was the Oyakume, he could exorcise people and tune things. But that didn't mean he didn't feign being a normal human 95% of the time anyways.
There was also the fact that when he'd shown up he'd been flickering like an old TV. And his appearance had changed after Mokuba had brought him back in tune. Not what one called normal. Akina pretty much expected Mokuba to call him out on that one, too.

Kisa gave a nervous smile. Being capable of fighting was something a normal human could do? She didn't question it, but Mokuba's jaw had dropped at the line. Normal human his ass.
"Hey, wait a minute," Mokuba demanded, "Are you honestly not aware of what happened earlier?"
Well, it wasn't like that was impossible. He'd been there during the Battle City finals. He'd seen Bakura and Malik's shifts. Maybe Kaiba thought they were completely nuts, but Mokuba couldn't leave it at just that. His brother didn't believe the switch between the two Yuugis, either... while those two knew about each other, Bakura's reactions made it painfully clear he didn't know about the switches.

Aaand there was the reaction Akina had expected. He looked a little nervous.
"No, I was aware of the whole thing. It hurt a lot, but I was aware of it," Akina said. He fully expected Mokuba to press him for more details, but it wasn't a subject he really enjoyed talking about. There was a reason the Hiizumi family called the oyakume "killers."

Kisa looked very confused. Something had apparently happened before she had arrived. Something that had hurt Akina? He seemed to be in a good condition now. Mokuba was looking at him critically. The teenager hadn't known what the Millenium Items were, so there was probably some other explanation. He was aware of it? Mokuba crossed his arms, he didn't look impressed.
"You're not going to expect me to believe that's a simple illness, right? You looked like some kind of bad television signal. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were a hologram trying to glitch. And how did my grabbing your hand solve things, anyways?"

Akina sighed and scratched the back of his head. Well, there wasn't really any reason to hide it, even if he didn't like talking about it. Plus Mokuba probably wouldn't stop bothering him about it if he didn't.
"...Do you remember how I mentioned the 'Afterworld' earlier? In my world, demons are supposed to live in the Afterworld, and humans in my dimension. Every now and then demons become 'out of tune' with their own dimension and end up in our world," Akina explained. "My family, the Hiizumi family, are the only people who can tune demons back to their own dimension. I have this ability too, though... I try to use it sparingly. The thing is, whenever I tune, I get a little 'off' myself. When that happens, I have to hold the hand of someone from my side to fix things."
He looked toward Mokuba, and then toward Kisa. He shrugged. "I guess I tuned a little too much and got too off tune from my dimension, which is how I ended up here... tell you what, though, that hurt. I'm never doing that again."

Kisa listened carefully to the explanation. It seemed that the definition of demon in Akina's world was more like the one she understood it to be in Japan. Although it was possible it was limited only to his world's Japan, as his name sounded Japanese. Demons were merely another species. She lifted one hand to her mouth when she realized what she had implied before with her statements. No wonder he had seemed upset! However, what he was saying implied that Enjin had the same powers....
Mokuba sighed, "Sorry I asked... Can we go now?"
Kisa looked startled, "Y-yes. Akina-san, I am very sorry about what I said earlier. I didn't mean any insult to you or your world. May I request you go first..?"

Akina gave a nervous smile as Kisa raised her hand her mouth and finally spoke. He shook his head.
"It's fine. It's not like you knew about the demons from my world, anyways," Akina said. He had no objections to taking the lead, and headed out of the alley, keeping an eye out for any trouble.
Enjin smirked. In an area like this, no one would raise an eyebrow at someone being attacked like this. This was the best chance he had. He quietly landed behind Kisa once the three of them were on their way out of the alley.
"You did well, Kisa-chan."

Kisa seemed relieved at his words. She looked at Mokuba and gave a reassuring smile, to which he returned with an annoyed stare. He just wanted to find his brother, not deal with all these people. He realized what she was probably suggesting and sighed and walked ahead of her. The Torque was still in his hand, and after a quick glance at it he shoved it in his pocket. As much as he didn't like the idea of it being on him, the thought of someone picking it up bothered him more. He was pretty sure Yuugi had been carrying the items before. He'd give it to him if he found him.
The white haired girl let out a sigh of relief as Mokuba went forward. She still didn't know what she was going to do about Akina. Maybe... well, she could honestly say she didn't know where he was at when she saw Enjin again. Maybe he'd get lucky. She had taken maybe three steps forward when that familiar voice whispered from behind her. She drew in her breath sharply and instincts took over before she could think about the potential consequences of her actions.
"Mokuba-san, Akina-san, run!"

Akina had already turned the corner when Kisa suddenly yelled out. He wanted to head back toward her, find out what was wrong, but for some reason, he couldn't muster up the will to even take another step in her direction. He remembered this feeling from one time once before, meaning...
"Dammit! Enjin, you bastard!" Akina yelled before running in the opposite direction. Enjin only gave a smirk at Akina's voice and looked back toward Kisa.
"So quick to help your new friends..." Enjin taunted. "You did very well, Kisa... though I suppose it was luck when Akina-kun appeared nearby another human. Had he not, it's possible he might have been lost in the space between dimensions forever from how off he was."
He took another couple of steps toward Kisa, still smirking. "You're a little wrong about me not taking over your body for this, though."

Mokuba had spun around as soon as the girl had shouted. He didn't know when it had happened, but in that short few steps he had taken, some silver haired guy with wolf ears had come up behind Kisa. Wait... didn't that fit the description of who Akina and the girl had been talking about!?
His went to take a step forward when his mind suddenly balked at the very idea. A look of complete confusion spread on his face, but every time he even so much as thought of stepping forward, his mind immediately rejected it. He jerked his head towards Akina as the black haired teenager shouted something.
"H-hey, wait! What's going on!?"
Kisa didn't know what was going on with Mokuba. She mouthed at him to run before spinning around to look at Enjin as he taunted her. She frowned for a moment at the way he was talking to her. He knew damn well she hadn't wanted to put anyone in danger. She glared at him as he mentioned what could have happened to Akina, but took several quick steps backwards as he tried to close the distance between them. Her face was a fair bit terrified as he continued to speak.
"L-leave me alone!" she demanded, the force behind perhaps surprising Enjin. It surprised her, but she forced herself to keep talking, "I did what you wanted, leave me alone! I-I'm warning you!"
Her thoughts made it clear she didn't have the slightest idea of what she was going to do if he pushed forward. She wasn't a very good fighter, not even all that agile. She might get lucky to dodge a few attacks but... in a place like this? No one would care some girl was getting assaulted. She didn't belong here in the first place. She took another quick step back, trying to maintain a glare at Enjin. It wasn't going well, even with her thoughts...
Mokuba had taken a few quick steps back and to the side as Kisa had mouthed for him to run, "Hey, Akina! What the hell's going on!?"
