(OOC: So where were you planning to go with the altered history? That shop in 1913 being a success rather than going out of business?)
Miyako nodded at Larry, although it was pretty clear she didn't quite understand what was being said for the noise. She pressed her hands harder against the side of her head, although she seemed to do so in an awkward way as she was trying not to be rude about it. It wasn't until Larry typed at the computer that the alarm went off.
The teenage girl slowly lowered her arms and paused for a moment to look at the screen. It looked like something Professor Utonium might have in his lab. She looked at the display and made a fairly logical leap considering the circumstances... in a way only Miyako could.
"Was that alarm a reminder for your homework?" She was looking at Otto when she said this, "Is your history report due tomorrow perhaps? Oh! Then do you help him with it?" She had turned to Larry as she asked the next question.

((To be perfectly honest, I wasn't entirely sure WHAT the inaccuracy would be when I posted that. I mostly just went with the first listed year that spoke of her in the fashion business. A lot of missions have involved figures pursuing the wrong career paths, so maybe she pursued another career after the first shop's failure, possibly because of something like her not meeting up again with Boy Capel like she was historically supposed to. ((Oh, and yes, the alarm does stop around the time Larry reaches and starts typing into the computer. I forgot to make a note of that, so I'm glad you figured that out for yourself. ) "Umm..." Otto rubbed his neck and glanced amongst his teammates. "Not quite... You see... we're time travelers, and we keep history on track." ((I'd recommend having Miyako say something about Coco that shows how much she knows about her. That's going to prove a major factor in Time Squad's decision to take her along, besides that they can't just leave her there in the apartment.))

(OOC: Well, I'm not gonna force anything. I think I figured out a way to, though.)
Miyako didn't seem to quite comprehend. She stared at Otto for a few moments. It was quite possible to assume her brain had broken. After all, they had no way of knowing she and her friends had access to a time machine. Then her eyes widened and one could almost hear the click. Her hands shot to her face and she looked very worried.
"Does that mean that Chanel-sama will not create her clothing line? But it has influenced so much and is at the height of haute coutere fashion! That is horrible, desu wa!"
(OOC: Chanel-sama, in this context, pretty much means Lady Chanel. She's being very polite and reverent to Chanel with the honorific she used. Sorry if I spelled that french term wrong, btw.)

(( [waves hand passively] Oh, force away.))
"Um, maybe not," said Otto. "But it'll be our job to convince her to if that's the case."

(OOC: I meant on MY characters. XD I'm not gonna make leaps that are out of character just to move the plot forward.)
Another lightbulb moment.
"So you travel through time to make sure society proceeds as it should? Are you quite sure you will be able to?" She didn't sound rude as she said that, merely very worried, "I do not want to think of the world of fashion without Chanel-sama's influence! I would like to be a fashion designer, and I can not think of a world without her line, desu!"

"Relax, kid," Tuddrussel assured her. "We just gotta find this Cuckoo lady..."
"Coco," Larry corrected him in an indignant hiss; Tuddrussel just ignored him and continued.
"...and make her realize she's gotta do her little fashion thing." He then said to his boy and bot, "Well, might as well get going. Mission's not going to solve itself."
Larry glanced at Miyako ans whispered to the others, "What about her?"
"What about her?" asked Tuddrussel.
"Well, we can't just leave her here alone," said Larry.
So Otto suggested, "Hey, why not take her with us?" Tuddrussel and Larry looked at him as if he were crazy. "Come on, it's like Larry said, we can't just leave her here. Besides, she probably knows more about Coco than even I do."
"Yes, but we already got in boiling water with Time Squad Central when they found out we took you time travelling with us," Larry pointed out. "They'll probably won't be as forgiving if they find out about her."
Otto shrugged. "It's not like we're keeping her, like you kept me."
Larry pondered his point. "I guess you're right... Miyako, would you care to accompany us on our mission?" he asked aloud. "It would be much better than staying alone in our apartment."

Miyako's eyes practically lit up. Some people would be looking for the light switch Larry's question had apparently flipped.
"Would that be quite alright? I would love to meet Chanel-sama! Oh, but I am worried if Miyako-san or Kaoru-san were to show up....."
(OOC: Sorry about the honorific change. I don't think she ever uses -chan for them. RETCON. XD)

((Mugen, MAI GAL, it's retcons like these all true--[shotshotshot] ))
"If's a particularly large island, and there's no real guarantee your friends will show up any time soon," said Larry. "To be honest, I'd rather we took you along than leave you here alone."
((Just out of curiosity, what do you think any of the PPGZs would say the first time they and Kenny Utonium appear in a roleplay? XD))

(OOC: Probably "Ken-chan!?" or "Hey, not wearing your lab coat for once?" - Also, a slight commentary on the PPGZ versions of the characters. For the most part I'm willing to say they look the same. However, I like to think that Utonium-Hakase and his son have a more "Tetsuwan Atom" (aka Astro Boy) hair style. I swear their hair were modeled after them. Where as Professor Utonium and American!Ken have a bit more "Average Joe" American hairstyle. Slightly shorter cut, a bit "flatter" if you will. I say American!Ken's would be the same as his father's because Japanese!Ken's is, and a bit of hairstyle differentiation exists among the characters with canon counterparts. Also, Japanese!Ken is almost never seen without his lab coat, so yeah. XD I may have to get him at some point just for the mirrorverse I've been pulling. Sorry long response is long.)
"I saw..." Miyako paused with her mouth open, and there was a long hesitation. She smiled, "Momoko-san disappear in the manner I think I must have, so I am quite certain she is here as well. However, I would very much like to accompany you if you would have me. Do you have a time travel device to allow such a trip?"

"The transporter's this way!" Otto scampered off to another part of the room where there was a large indent in the wall. It had three circular pads inside (likely for the three of them, though their taking Miyako suggested they didn't HAVE to stand on the pads) and a keypad to the right side. When Otto showed Miyako the transporter, Larry explained. "Our era of our world's advances in time travel have gotten to the point where we don't really need any kind of vehicle for fourth-dimensional travel." He went on to say, "However, the process can be a tad frightening for first-timers... I thought you should know that before hand..." Otto looked back at Larry to say, "I thought it was awesome my first time! ...it... got kinda boring after doing it so many times after that, though..." ((The exact process is only shown in the first episode. However, Larry would later describe it in a season two episode as, "First it's scary, then it's a thrill. Oh, then it's just tedious." Also, I attached an image of the transporter I drew several years ago to help with visualization. Kinda crappy, but better than nothing.)) Attachments:

(OOC: I've seen Star Trek. That's pretty much what I think when I hear "transporter")
Miyako watched Otto scurry over to the other part of the room. She turned back towards Larry and smiled as he explained things. That well explained may of the issues, being in the future. What they had fallen through had been a time portal, of course! Dynamo Z was a time travel device, so it made a certain sort of sense. She gave a vacant yet cute smile and nod when Larry mentioned that it could be frightening.
"I am quite sure I will be alright, but thank you for your concern," she walked over to the device and stood on it, "So I simply need to stand here?"

((It may have been inspired by Star Trek for all I know; this is a sci-fi cartoon. The transporter, as far as I remembered, was only identified by name in one episode in which Otto reminds Tuddrussel that Larry is "the only one who can work" it. This changes, of course, in the two-year time span I made up, but w/e.
By the way, when the four arrive in historic France of Time Squad's dimension, should we have Dimensional Island's universal translating magic follow them, should Larry translate for everyone, or should I just make up something about translator tech that was invented in that two-year span that activates when they go on a mission?))
"That's right." Otto stepped in with her. "Don't worry; you'll do fine," he said, hoping his vote of confidence would cheer her up.
"It's go time!" Tuddrussel declared loudly as he and Larry joined them. Larry had begun to punch the coordinates into the keypad when Tuddrussel interrupted him. "Wait, wait, wait..." He assumed a pouncing pose so he'd be ready to spring into action on arrival and gave Larry a nod. "Okay, go."
Larry sighed and pressed the big round button at the bottom of the keypad. For a brief moment, the transporter bathed the four in a blue light. Then, with a bright flash and a loud crack, they vanished.
At this point, Miyako would've found herself and her new friends teleported into a strange interdimensional funnel. The funnel sucked each of them up one by one at a rapid pace before it spit them out at once. If she'd been paying any attention to the others, it would've been clear from their body language that they'd done this kind of thing like a million times before. With another flash and crack, the ride ended just as quickly as it started, and the four were in Paris of 1913.

(OOC: Since its not the past of the Island, Larry should have to translate. In my opinion, the translation ability only applies to the Island itself. You could also go with an invention, but I think being forced to have a translator makes the most sense. However, french is apparently not an uncommon language in Japan ("non" for no is commonly seen in pop culture, and that's French), so Miyako can probably catch pieces.
Also, you've seen Miyako's current outfit. Its the one she is wearing when she is first seen in civilian form in PPGZ. A somewhat boyish top with the tie and a miniskirt. I don't know if that's ever an issue in show, but it would raise more than a few eyes in 1913 France, where women were still expected to wear long skirts and such.)
It wasn't that Miyako was down, far from it. She actually seemed to be handling the situation pretty well aside from what seemed to be a chronic case of confusion. She did seem to get a little depressed when she talked about her friends and there was some worry that had popped up in regards to Coco, but overall the girl seemed rather peppy. She gave a somewhat vacant and altogether cute smile and nodded in response to Otto's comment. She had a very feminine pose, standing straight up with her hands to the side and the fingers spread as Larry hit the button.
Her pigtails raised into the air just before the rest of her body, but she didn't seem the least bit rattled as the transporter sucked her up. It was only when her skirt began to lift up something like panic started and both her hands shot forward to hold down the front of her skirt. If any of the men were watching, they might manage a slight panty shot from her back end, though. She let out an surprised and somewhat indignant eep as everyone vanished.
The startled reaction over the skirt meant she would land in a matter likely far less graceful than the other three. It involved landing on her knees, which got a little banged up, and falling forward into a faceplant. She popped up quickly enough, her legs spread to either side and most of her weight on her knees. She rubbed the back of her head as she winced.
"Ow, desu wa~..."

((To be honest, I can't recall if difference in clothing has ever been addressed in the series... well, except when a couple of villagers in 18th century Savannah, GA took a liking to Otto's cotton t-shirt, inspiring Eli Whitney to make the cotton gin... But if you want to write people having such a reaction, go ahead. Also, when they end up finding Coco, would you mind playing her? I mean, you've got one character in this RP, and I've got three... not including another character who will show up later as the ultimate reason Coco and Boy hadn't met up like they were supposed to.))
Larry soaked in the surroundings. "Ah, France. The fashion, the culinary arts, the romance..."
Otto pointed to a famous structure in the distance. "Hey, it's the Eiffel Tower! It's one of the most--if not the most famous architectures in Paris, and considered a younger sibling, as far as framework goes, of the Statue of Liberty!"
One Frenchman eyed Tuddrussel (who stuck out rather easily due to his size) curiously and addressed him in French.
"Hey..." Tuddrussel made a fist and demanded angrily, "Did that guy just insult me??"
The man backed away in fright when fright, not knowing what Tuddrussel had said but knowing what a fist and that tone generally meant.
"Tuddrussel, calm down!" Larry put a hand on the time cop's fist, lowering it. He then turned to the man and calmly conversed with him. "Hmm... according to this gentleman, Coco Chanel had a shop not far from here, but the business failed."
Scratching his head, Tuddrussel asked, "So... was it supposed to do that?"

(OOC: Uh, sure. I just hope I don't slaughter the poor woman. XD Stupid semi-educational tv shows. XD Also, due to an image of one of her hats on her wikipedia article, I think she was still going by Gabrielle at this point.)
Miyako was pretty much being ignored, it seemed. She pushed herself up and went around rearranging herself. First she smoothed down her skirt, looking behind her to make sure it wasn't bunched up. The lack of reaction meant no one had seen the incident earlier, for which she was very grateful. Time travelling was easier when you were strapped into a mecha and could fly when needed, it seemed. She adjusted her tie and looked down on the ground, noticing that the blue "P" compact-like object had popped out of her belt. She let out a gasp and bent down, picking it up and brushing it off. Good, it seemed in one piece. She set it back in place in her belt before turning around.
"I believe Chanel-sama's first shop went out of business," stated Miyako, "I am afraid I do not know much about her history beyond that. I am more versed in her excellent clothing designs, desu wa~"
There were a few whispered comments by the people that passed them. They seemed focused on the way of dress. Larry was actually getting quite a few interested stares, but they weren't really insulting. The same couldn't be said for the way Tuddrussel and Miyako were being looked at, though. Miyako didn't seem to hear them, though. Not even to the point of not understanding, just to not hearing.
