There was a moment of thought as Alex took a look around the myriad of stores that was open. There was a lot of them to choose from after all...
After a second however, he saw what appeared to be a clothing store not too far away. "Hmmm... Well, you can't very well keep on running around wearing my stuff." He points to the clothing store, putting his hands behind his head. "We've covered the shoes and," he cleared his throat. "Undergarments. But we should get you a few shirts, pairs of jeans, shorts. You know. The bare necessities of life." He smiled at his little injoke.

You smile kindly and, taking his hand, once again drag him to the store. You stop inside, looking around. You pick up a nice t-shirt with what looks like a circle, split in half with another circle in it. The top half is red and the bottom, white. You smile up at him and giggle softly, gently rubbing the soft fabric against your skin.
"What do you think, Alex?"
You tilt you head, holding the shirt up to him.

A big smile appeared on his face, when he saw the shirt. Somehow he shouldn't have been surprised; Rulett seemed to show an interest in Pokemon having bought so many of the games at the Gamestop. "Heheheh, if you ask me it suits you. Rulett." He motioned to Rulett's bag full of games. "The design on that shirt is a design from those games you got earlier."
As he chuckled, a thought struck him. "Ya know? Maybe I should get me a new shirt too." He looked around a moment, before he found what appeared to be a shirt nearby that was pure blue shirt with an odd face on it. "Oh! Sonic the Hedgehog!" He walks over to the guy section, which was across the way, and showed Rulett. "Whatcha think?"

"Heehee.~ I think it looks cute!~"
You look at a few more shirts, then grab at least six. You look around, curious. You turn to Alex and smile softly.
"Do they have a squeak block for me to try this on in?"
You tilt your head, waiting for his response.

There was a smile and a nod. "Sure, it's this way."
Within a few seconds, Alex had shown Rulett to the dressing rooms, and motioned inside. "Welp, there ya go. Walk right in there, and try on that stuff you got. I'll be out here waiting until ya get done."

She tilts her head, confused. She gently holds his hand, the twenty or so shirts in her other hand.
"Why can't you be in there with me? I want to know what you think of the shirts, Alex!~ You know, if the style looks good or not!"

Alex blushed and quickly waved his hand. "Er... Sorry Rulett. That's a no go. See... That's the LADIES dressing room."
He chuckled a bit, bashfully it seemed. "You see, guys don't go into ladies dressing rooms. It's like guys going into ladies bathrooms... It's simply not done." He smiled when he noticed Rulett's look. "Hey don'tcha worry, I'll be right out here waiting for ya, and once you finish changing, just come out here and show me."

She nods, understanding.
"Okay, Alex."
She walks inside and tries on the shirts. some were too small, while others were too big. Thankfully, the Pokemon shirt was one of the ones that was the perfect size. You take it off and hang it up, then walk out of the stall. You smile softly at Alex, blushing a little.
"Good news is, there are five shirts that fit. The bad squeak news is tht fifteen that don't."
She rubs the back of her head, embarrassed. She didn't notice that she was bare on the top half of her body. Even if she did, she didn't think it was strange, since nobody was around but her and Alex.
"I could put them up, if you want."

Alex quickly covered his eyes, thankful no-one was in immediate range. "J-JEEZE girl!! Get a shirt on please!!" He quickly rushed over, twirled the girl around and gently pushed her back into the dressing room. "Please before somebody sees you. This IS a public place after all..."

It had been a long month for the person known only as Shantae. Ever since she arrived on the island, it had been one confusing experience after another. For one thing, she found that she had her magical animal transformations back, she could use her traditional magic attacks again... And yet, despite all of that, she was still no closer to finding her way back home.
Still, she had to admit, this island wasn't so bad once you get used to it. In fact, it was actually kinda homely... You know once you got past all of the people with super powers.
She let out a sigh as she carried her own bag of things, now wearing a nineties pink halter top along with her baggy red pants, her purple hair pulled into a pony-tail. On this island you could NEVER be too careful. "Pretty slow day today." She smiled a bit. "Good, at least I don't have to deal with any nuts-"
She approached the dressing rooms and saw Alex quickly coaxing a topless Rulett back in to get a shirt.

"What in the world?"

Rulett notices this new girl and, grabbing the pokemon shirt, walks over to her, putting it on along the way and smiling kindly.
"Hello there! My name squeak is Rulett!"
She bows respectfully, giggling and blushing soft green.
"What's your name?"

Shantae saw the troll coming within a few seconds, and ignored the fact that she was naked only a few seconds ago. "Uh... Oh! The name's Shantae. Who are you-"
"Shantae?"
The two girls looked to see Alex looking at the new girl with wide eyes. "Wait... As in... THE Shantae???"
.......................... Lifting an eyebrow, the half-genie looked a bit curious about this. "Is there any other girl named Shantae around here?"
There was a wide giddy smile on Alex's face. "Wow!!! Man this is something else!!! I knew there was game characters on this island, but SHANTAE'S here too?!?!? HOLY COW!! This is so cool!"

Rulett glances from Shantae to Alex and back, confused.
"Alex? How do you squeak know this girl?"
She has a look of concern and worry on her face as she looks at him, her head tilted in curiosity.

Shantae looked between the two curiously as Alex smiled. "Rulett, this person right here before us is the Half Genie Shantae. She's a very popular videogame character where I'm from. She's well known for her game that mixes classic adventuring, platforming and dungeon crawling. She's a half genie capable of taking the forms of various animals." He quickly came to a realization. "Oh! Eh..." He chuckles bashfully to Shantae. "I'm sorry if I'm embarassing you, I'm just a big fan of your game-"
The half-genie shrugged. "Eh, don't worry about it." She smiles a bit. "I've heard it a few times already anyways. A lot of people know who I am. Others don't but," She shrugs, "My fanbase is limited, what are ya gonna do?"

She smiles kindly at Shantae, giggling softly and blushing a soft green.
"It's nice squeak to meet a celebrity like yourself."
Thinking of something, she smiles a bit, tilting her head. She really needed help with fashion, since she had no sense with it.
"May I please request some help, Ms. Shantae, regarding squeak fashion?"

Alex looked a bit surprised at this, as he looked between Rulett and Shantae. "You don't have to miss."
However Shantae giggled at the cute troll girl a moment. "Well, why not?" She shrugged a bit. "Seems like it's been forever since I've had anyone to talk to and have girl talk with." She smiled to Rulett, "If you wanna talk fashion, I'm open."
To say that this came as a surprise to Alex would be an understatement. "Wow... From shopping between ourselves to shopping with a popular video game character... Today's just been FILLED with surprises hasn't it?"
