We turn our attention to the El-grande Mall, the morning following another thread as a peculiar dark energy portal opens up, letting out two young figures inside the mall itself.
The young male of the two, human in origin, held on to the female, whom appeared to be of the Troll race, holding onto him tightly. Frankly the young man had told her to do as such when they entered the portal. The void was a very fast way to travel, but it wasn't completely infallible.
But hey, when your the Thief of Void anything about it was infallible.
"Okay Rulett, we're here."

Rulett sighs in relief, kissing his cheek gently before letting go.
"Thank you, Alex. That was...interesting."
She looks around, her eyes wide in awe. She had never seen so much stuff in one place.
"...oh my...this place squeak is amazing!~"

Alex chuckled at Rulett's response to the atmosphere and sights of the mall itself. Really, his response was a bit more underwhelmed then hers, having visited here several times before now. Still, he found the Mouse-troll's response to be appropriately adorable. "Yeah, I know, isn't it great?"
He wrapped an arm around her, to motion around. "I like to think that mall's are both the bane of smalltime businesses and the apex of private owned businesses. Before malls were invented, people had to drive to several different stores to find what they needed. Mall's however put all of the non-convential stores together within walking distance, all within one building."
He took a look around before appearing to find what he was looking for. "Okay, the shoe store's just right over that way. Let's head there first."

She smiles and, taking his hand, rushes to the shoe store with him. She looks around, then picks up a strapped sandal.
"What do you think of this squeak one, Alex?"
She sees something and hands the sandals to him before rushing off and picking up some boots that happened to have her symbol on them. She giggles and shows them to him, excited.
"Maybe these?"

Alex held onto the sandals as Rulett showed him the boots. Boy she looked as giddy as a 6 year old. "Wow, what're the chances?" He took notice that the boots had the symbol on em that matched Rulett's old latex suit. Talk about a coincidence. "Man that IS a coincidence." As he said this, he looked around before he took notice of a bench nearby.
Okay, good, a way to make sure she doesn't go overboard. "How about we have you try these babies on? Finding shoes is one thing; finding some that fit is another thing entirely." He points to the bench. "You can have a seat while you try them on."

She sits on the bench and tries on the sandals. She sighs, upset. They were two sizes too big. She takes them off and places them on the bench next to her.
She then tries on the boots. She stands up and walks around in them a bit, testing to see how they felt.
After walking for half a minute, she turns to Alex and giggles, jumping in excitement.
"They're squeak perfect!~"
She hugs him tightly, blushing happily. She looks into his eyes, hopeful.
"Can we get them? Please?"

Alex chuckled at the troll's excitement, and smiled at her question. "Course. That's why we're here after all." As she did this, he looked around a moment. "Well I can't think of anything else we need here, so let's go ahead and check out."

It took little time, given the line at the register, but once everything was paid for, Alex and Rulett walked out of the store together, Rulett in her new boots. Alex meanwhile appeared to be helping himself to a candy bar that had been up for grabs in the store. It looked like a Kit-Kat Bar. "Man... did I miss this." He said as he broke off a piece of the Kit Kat and chomped it.

She giggles, watching him eat the candy bar.
"I'll assume you like that squeak candy, then?"
She notices another store and smiles widely, taking Alex's hand and pulling him with her.
"Come on, Alex! You said you'd help pick some stuff out!~"

"Well, there are better choices for candy, but this was the closest thing they had to my favorite kind." He said this simply, as he chomped into the chocolate bar like it was a piece of Jerky. "My absolute favorite kind is Reeses Peanut Butter cups, but of course, I like chocolate in general."
His chocolate based daze was broken almost immediately when Rulett took his hand and he was suddenly dragged behind her. "Yike! Okay I'm coming!" Despite the way he said this, he appeared to be laughing as he quickly tried to match up to Rulett's running steps. "So which store are we running in this time?"

She points ahead at the Victoria's Secret, continuing to pull him with her into the store. She picks up some of the undergarments, smiling cutely at him. She thinks that it is alright for him to be in there with her. She did need the clothes, after all, and he said he would help her choose.

When Rulett pointed out which store they were going in, well of course Alex wanted to say something in protest, but they were already inside before he could say anything. He blushed bright red when Rulett proceeded to show him some lingerie. He couldn't really hold it against her though, given she had worn that jumpsuit for such a long time.
He quickly held up his hands in surrender, "Uh Rulett? No offense or anything, but... Shouldn't you be underwear shopping for your own stuff? I mean, this store isn't really... guy-friendly don't you think?"

She giggles and gently kisses his cheek, holding up a cute, forest-green bra and matching panties. She tilts her head, curious, smiling brightly at him.
"What do you think, Alex? Would this look good on me?"

Alex blushed pretty profoundly when he saw and heard this. Looking around, he saw quite a few people that was looking at the two curiously. Thank god he thought to change into something a bit more casual before he got here, otherwise they would've got even MORE attention.
As it was though? Yeah, this was pretty embarassing.
He clears his throat bashfully. "Well... Umm... I guess so... But..." He decided to approach this carefully. "I guess you would, but uh... Rulett in all honesty, well... Your underwear isn't something I'd look at normally all circumstances considered right?"
He tried his best to word that without sounding too awkward about it...

She stares at him, confused.
"Would you prefer I not squeak wear panties or a bra, squeak Alex?"
She notices a magazine nearby and flips through it, smiling a little as she sees something nice. Putting the magazine back, she looks around and then heads off to the back of the store, out of Alex's sight. She grabs something there, as well as five other pairs of lingerie, takes it to the cashier and pays for it before Alex can tell what she paid for.

"Wait-what-NO! That is not what I sa- Rulett where are you goi- arrgh!!!" He was too late to stop her however, as she walked off... To get what he didn't know...
He groaned quite a bit, as he facepalmed his bright red face... And took notice of a good amount of the store looking at him oddly.
.... "WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT?!?"
Everyone quickly went back to shopping, deciding to ignore the raging young man.
A moment later, he turned to find Rulett Doujou paying for something or other... ... Screw it, if she was paying for underwear she was paying for underwear. Whatever she was paying for, it wasn't any of his business.
He let out a sigh as Rulett approached. "Okay... So... Do you have what you need?"
