Todd glared at Mickey before fighting off the shadows with his viola. "THAT IS FOUL PLAY!!!" he shouted over the music.
Yang quickly took a defensive stance. She thought she just saw a person change into a Grimm. 'I hate you Todd,' she thought as she remember that Ember Cecilia weren't with her.
"Cool," Beth replied as she joined in.

Any form of defensiveness or protest was promptly ignored by Mickey as he began his song proper. He partially materialized behind Rio, looking just as devilish as ever. His face was perhaps his only recognizable feature, albeit with glowing red eyes and a mouthful of fangs. The rest of his body appeared to be one with the shadows that surrounded them, a larger, more bestial, pitch-black form that blended into the ethereal darkness.
Tauntingly, Mickey reached out with two large, clawed shadow hands and gently brushed them along Rio's rigid form.
"Just one spark
Is all it takes"
As swiftly and gracefully as the shadows themselves, Mickey swooped around and took on a dramatic pose where he originally stood.
"I tried so hard
But it all goes up in FLAMES"
On that last word, dozens... possibly even hundreds of demonic eyes opened within the darkness, all burning bright red and glaring into the center of the storm. Mickey slammed his shadow hands down, crouching into a feral pounce position.
"This is not the way that I thought I would turn out to be
Tried to get but all that I got was more insanity
Broken everything that I touched, just gone against me
I can't get away"
Then Mickey shot upwards, towering over his audience like a malevolent deity. He raised his hands, each movement dictating the flow of the shadows that continued to writhe around them. And within the shadows, visions of hellfire sprung to life, the flames dancing and bending to their puppet master's will as well.
"From the FIRE that burns inside, consuming
I fight to stay alive but I can't breathe
The voices scream, the enemy takes over everything
This is the MADNESS IN ME"
As all this went on, Cat wasn't particularly scared. She knew Mickey wouldn't actually hurt them. If anything, she found the rush to be somewhat enthralling. Plus, the looks on everyone else's faces were just priceless.
All the while, out on the lake, Juno was launched off the slide and into the water. When she swam back up to the surface, she found herself facing the beach, and the sight of Mickey's shadow form was enough to get her to stop and stare. "What. The. S***."

Rio bristled as Mickey's shadowy tendrils brushed against his bare skin. He very nearly countered with a light-based attack, but the vampire moved away soon enough. As he watched Mickey's over-the-top performance, Rio was feeling a multitude of emotions. Mostly fear and anger, which together were threatening to set off his fight or flight instincts one way or another.
Paul had no idea what to do. He just stood there, wide-eyed and slack-jawed, only flinching when he instinctively tried to avoid any shadows or images that veered too close.
As the song went on, Harley started to get annoyed. Mickey's show of demonic force was one thing, and she was still fully prepared to fight it back should the need arise, but this incessant heavy metal was just irritating.

Yang was dodging the shadows as Todd furiously fenced at the shadow tendrils.
Beth looked over. "...... Wanna go smash something?" she asked to her younger companion.

By now, it was more than likely clear that Mickey had no intent to harm anyone, but the fact remained that he was still enjoying himself way too much.
"Just one chance

Soon enough, Cat found the rush of Mickey's performance too exciting to resist and she joined him in the chorus.

Juno looked up at Beth and raised an eyebrow. "Destruction of other people's property and/or physical being? ...Yeah, I'm down for that."

Though his nervousness had yet to fully wane, Rio quickly gave up on trying to defend himself from Mickey. By acting all paranoid about it, he was giving the raccoon exactly what he wanted, and he knew it. So he simply took to scowling at Mickey until he was finished, much like what Mickey did during Rio and Todd's duet.
Paul was... much the same. He was starting to enjoy the song, at least.
Harley was just as fed up as ever, and she was fully prepared to make her opinion known. "Alright, you made your point! Could you can the act and stop poisoning our airspace?!"

Todd glared. 'You are dead after this,' he thought with a venomous glare.
Yang started to back off. At the moment she was barely trusting of Mickey.
"I think that Shadow beast over there is a good target," she offered.

"Sounds good to me," Juno offered, raising a hand out of the water and channeling her Black Dust into it.
For a moment, it seemed as if Mickey and the shadows he controlled had calmed down, if only slightly...

...only to erupt into a spectacle of firework-like bursts of darkness and hellfire. Mickey raised himself above his audience once again as he and Cat sang their refrain.

Cat grinned fiercely and held out her arms as if to bask in the darkness around her. Mickey mirrored her pose and unleashed his finale, the whirlwind of shadows accelerating and the fire and demonic eyes illuminating the circle with hellish shades of red and yellow.

"GAH-!"
And then, in perfect sync with the final chord of the song, Mickey's display came to a sudden halt thanks to a Scathe spell in the back courtesy of Juno. The shadows abruptly retreated into his body, which reverted to its normal form as he fell forward and landed face-first in the sand.
Nonetheless, in the silence that followed, those closest to Mickey could hear him saying, his voice muffled by the sand, "Nailed it."

With Mickey's shadow best form finally sealed away, Rio could relax again. The frown he shot down at his teammate wasn't particularly angry or even frustrated. He simply stared at Mickey and shook his head like a disappointed father.
After taking a few shaking breaths, Paul found it in him to break the tension, if only that which he had been holding in himself. "Okay... That was friggin' weird."
Harley sighed with sweet, sweet relief. "THANK YOU, JUNO!"

Todd nodded. "Next time we do that-" he started only to be interupted by Yang.
"Mind me taking a turn?" She quickly asked with a song in mind.
"Nice shot, Juno," called Beth from the water a paintbrush raised above her head.

Cat smirked and plucked her partner out of the sand. "For what it's worth, that was fun."
"'Course it was," Mickey chuckled smugly.
"My pleasure!" Juno shouted back before paddling up to the water slides again.

Rio took a deep breath, then he looked over at Yang with a little smile. "I don't see why not. As long as there are no shadow monsters!"
"I have to second that," Paul added, though he was still not quite sure how he felt about Mickey's performance.
Harley smiled and nodded, contributing another encouraging response. "I think we all need some positive reinforcement after that gruesome display..."

"Well then Miss Yang. The stage is yours," Todd offered with a small smile.
Yang smiled as she took a breath. Her hand fished for her phone out of the bag that Todd had packed for her. "I'll have to thank Todd for this song being in my head," she offered as she played an instrumental track.
Her voice soon blended into the music as she started to sing.
"Come at me and you'll see I'm more then meets the eye. You think that you'll break me you're gonna find in time. You're standing too close to a flame that's burning hotter then the sun in the middle of July. Sending out your army but u still can't win. Listen up silly boy cuz I'm gonna tell you why."
"I burn! Can't hold me now. You got nothing that can stop me. I burn! Swing all you want. Like a fever I will take you down."
"Reign supreme? In your dreams. You'll never make me bow. Kick my ass? I'm world class, and super saiyan now. You're starting up a fight that you just can't finish. Watch the little hearts while they scrape you off the floor. Bringing out your rockets; well shoot em up baby. High as you can go but I'm the one who's gonna soar."

As he listened to Yang sing, Mickey tilted his head with interest, his expression somewhere between pondering and meh. Eventually, though, he gave Yang the tiniest of smiles.
Cat smiled and bobbed her head to the beat, quickly recognizing this song. From what, she couldn't remember.
From the top of a water slide, Juno looked back upon hearing a new song begin. That made three performances so far, and here she thought the sing-off was over at two. "Hmmm..." All the way down the slide and into the water, she pondered an idea that had suddenly sprung into her head.

Rio cheerfully listened to Yang sing, an encouraging smile on his face all the way through.
Paul, much the same, swayed to the beat.
Harley regarded the performance calmly, but with a polite grin. The music was still a little loud for her taste, but compared to Mickey's brutal display of metal, this was a symphony to her ears.
