"I burn! Can't hold me now. You go nothing that can stop me. I burn! Swing all you want. Like a fever I'll take you down.
It doesn't have to be this way. Let's kiss and make up then you'll learn. You can fight your life away. I get what I want so don't bother and just watch me burn." Yang stopped to take a breath before she started doing an odd mix of shadow boxing and club dancing while taking on a rap verse.
"Hotter than the sun feel my fire pyromaniac, my desire. Thought that you could see the truth. 'Till I just burned down the booth. Human torch can't fuck with me. Johnny blaze suspect b. strike 'me quick, lighting fast. Melt them bitches down to ash. Gasoline, kerosene, strike a match ignite the scene. Shit will never be the same. Feel the fury of my flame. Beg for mercy it won't help. Embrace the ending you where dealt. Seems you fucks will never learn. Now sit back and watch me burn." She smiled before going in for one last round of the chorus.
"I burn! Can't hold me now. You got nothing that can stop me. I burn! Swing all you want. Like a fever I will take you. I burn! Can't hold me now. You got nothing that can stop me. I burn. Swing all you want. Like a fever I'll take you down."
The overzealous fighter took a bow after her song was over.
"Nice one Yang," Todd offered politely.
Beth took a chance and splashed Juno playfully.

Mickey's smile widened slightly as he nodded with approval.
Cat gave Yang a golf clap and a light cheer. "Whoo! Nice!"
Juno's thought process was interrupted by the sudden splash of water in her face. Her reaction was surprisingly not angry; she was a little annoyed, of course, but when she splashed back at Beth, it certainly wasn't in an angry way. Then she asked, "Whadya think? Should I go show those noobs what real music is?"

"Yes! Well done!" Rio clapped along with Cat before facing the group with a humorous smile. "Gee, is this even a contest anymore? Anyone else want a turn?"
"I'm good, thank you." Paul gave everyone a smile and a curt nod. "Great show, everyone! If you don't mind, I'm gonna go get my feet wet again." He then politely made his leave and headed back towards the water.
Harley shrugged. "Heck, if it's an open improv kind of thing, maybe I could give it a go. Or.. well... I don't have my piano, but..."

"Thank you," Yang offered with a smiled.
"And here I thought you'd keep it rated PG with me around. Didn't know you knew the actual version," Todd teased. "Well I can start the grill while the next act gets ready."
"Only if you don't mind me following you," Beth replied.

"Pfft. Yeah, like this ever was a contest," Mickey said smugly.
Cat elbowed him and sat down in the sand. Standing was annoying.
"Fine by me," Juno replied as she started swimming back towards dry land, passing by Paul without a word. Once she reached the group, she walked up to Mickey and hastily said, "Hey, you're the one with the iPod, right, 'kay thanks." Then she grabbed his MP3 player and started sorting through its library.
"Whoa, hey, what're you-?!" Mickey was properly annoyed at first, but he lightened up as he watched her make her selection. "Ah, a girl with taste."

Paul tried waving to Juno as they swam past each other, but her lack of acknowledgement prompted him to just keep swimming, awkwardly frowning at the water.
Rio wasn't sure how to respond to Juno's sudden participation, but he quickly let it slide, albeit with a grain of salt. He did, however, clear his throat and say, "Apologies, but I don't believe we caught you ladies' names."
"Harley. That's Juno," Harley muttered in response. "And if she's singing, then I suppose I should take this opportunity to excuse myself as well." She then folded her arms, raised her nose and walked a little ways away, where she sat down and pulled out a novel.

Beth was following behind. "Hey," she offered to Paul as she swam by.
Yang nodded. "Can't wait to see this one then," she offered with a smirk.
"Pleasure to meet you both," Todd offered.

"Ah. A guy with taste," Juno shot back at Mickey before casting a glare at Harley's back. "Yeah, way to support your teammate, ya dick."
Cat watched with interest as Juno took the proverbial center stage. Mickey smiled that devilish smile of his, but he was willing to see where this went.
As the song began with a gentle, haunting chime, Juno cleared her throat and straightened herself out. Then the bass kicked in and she began to sing. Though not great, she certainly wasn't awful, and the slow, soft wave of her hands like a storyteller painting a visual image was a nice touch.
"She paints her fingers with a close precision He starts to notice empty bottles of gin And takes a moment to assess the sin she's paid for A lonely speaker in a conversation Her words are swimming through his ears again There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for
"Say what you mean, tell me I'm right And let the sun rain down on me Give me a sign, I want to believe
"Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh, Mona Lisa! You're guaranteed to run this town! Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh, Mona Lisa! I'd pay to see you frown!"

Rio folded his arms but watched with keen interest and a light smile. He'd heard this song plenty of times before, and this Juno girl seemed to be performing it fairly well.
Harley, on the other hand, was doing everything in her power to ignore Juno's screeching vocals, angrily burying her face within the pages of Gone Girl.

Beth and Todd watched. Beth started to dance and mouth the words as Juno sung.
Yang smirked and watched the girl perform.

Mickey and Cat were both clearly enjoying the show; the latter also took to mouthing along, and the former's smirk was on par with Brendon's in the music video for this song.
Juno looked over her shoulder, casting a sharp look at her partner. She almost wished Harley was watching so she could believe Juno was singing the next line about her; it surely would've driven her crazy.
"He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, she would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him!"
Juno hunched up slightly and played an over-exaggerated air guitar, then she unfurled with a mighty leap, throwing her hand up and unleashing a small, harmless burst of fire. "WHOO!

Rio was properly amused, if perhaps a bit startled by Juno's brief usage of fire, considering the fire that had surrounded him moments ago. Still, seeing Cat and Mickey's enjoyment of the song was in and of itself actually quite admirable.
Out on the lake, Paul smiled as he listened to the song from a distance. He could easily say that, all things considered, this had been a great evening thus far.
Harley was still trying her hardest to ignore the current goings on. If Juno was intentionally trying to get on her nerves, she took no notice of it.

Beth and Todd seemed to dance along to the song and Yang sighed as she watched them. Ocassionally the blonde caught herself mouthing the words to the song.

By that point, Cat and Mickey couldn't resist dancing along to the chorus; Cat was dangerously close to just opening singing along.
When the bridge began, Juno grinned and inched her way out of the crowd. She stopped in front of Harley, forcefully nudged Harley's book down with her finger, and softly sung directly to Harley's face...
"Mona Lisa Pleased to please you Mona Lisa"
She slowly backed up, reclaiming her spot in the circle, all the while keeping her gaze on Harley.
"Say what you mean, tell me I'm right And let the sun rain down on me Give me a sign, I want to believe"
Then, once she was back in place, she turned her attention back to her audience and resumed the theatrics.
"Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh, Mona Lisa! You're guaranteed to run this town! Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh, Mona Lisa! I'd pay to see you frown!
"Say what you mean, tell me I'm right And let the sun rain down on me Give me a sign, I want to believe!"
After that last stanza, as the music started to quiet down to a close, Juno had to take a breath. As if sensing Cat's repressed desires, she looked up, smiled and pointed at her. That seemed to get the message across, as the anthro coolly stepped forward and delivered the final line.
"There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for"

Harley scowled back at Juno as the latter got up in her face. As soon as she was able to, she went right back to ignoring her.
When the song drew to a close, Rio once again smiled and clapped. "Nice job. Very nice job."
"Whoo!" Even if no one was looking, Paul pumped a fist of acknowledgement, then dove under the water.
