Alex laughed some as he helped Ruby to a seat. The stamp of approval from Ruby was definitely a very encouraging happening. He had gotten so used to the thought that this would eventually end, if not because Yang was a far better person then he was, and that she deserved better. That maybe he was not enough for her and that a simple fanboy couldn't have that kind of dream. It was just unrealistic....
And yet the more he went along the more it seemed to be coming along...
And when he looked to Yang, whom smiled to him, He found himself so relieved for that. She was so wonderful. Ruby was so wonderful. They were ALL so wonderful. If he got to be a part of this family then... Maybe all of the suffering to get this far would've been worth it. He laughed some more as he mussed up Ruby's hair then walked over to the living room. Once he was sure, he was standing close, he suddenly backpedaled. "O-OH NO-!! GRAVITY'S... INCREASING ON ME-!!"
This was about the only warning Yang got before Alex flopped back onto the couch with her, landing on top of her. The intention was clear however with that smile. He just wanted to spend time with his Yang~.

Yang laughed slightly as Alex fell on her. She gave a soft smile. "Welcome to my orbit~" she teased.
Ruby playfully stuck out her tongue and Todd just chuckled.
"And Yang. Be lucky you and Alex are so cute together. Along with it being the holiday season," Todd offered to the pair.

"Whatever you say, hardass~." Still... The holidays... Alex had forgotten that a few weeks ago had been October... And now November was almost over... December was right around the corner it seemed.... He looked to Yang, already rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Hmmmm.... I guess I'll need to think of something for a christmas gift then eh-? Well.... I AM a thief, so tracking down information for good gift ideas should be fairly easy." He grinned a bit, his hand reaching down and taking Yang's. "... Actually Yang..." After a moment, he moved himself a bit to fall into the space in the couch behind Yang so they could both rest comfortably... It certainly gave Alex the position to wrap an arm around Yang's mid-section. "You could just tell me what you'd like~." He already had a fair idea of what to get Ruby. Plucky and excitable little kids were easier to shop for... But Yang?

Yang smiled. "I have a few not so appropriate ideas, but maybe not this Christmas. I could use a tool kit to repair Bumblebee, and a helmet for you," she honestly admitted.
"Oh! Alex. Erin is at the hospital with a friend of hers and mine. Well more like a little sister but besides the point Erin is helping the doctors take care of her," Todd offered.
Ruby looked confused. "Can I ask something?"
Todd nodded.
"Who's Erin?" Ruby replied looking confused. "And is she friendly?"

NOT SO APPROPRIATE-? Alex looked at Yang ODDLY at this, unsure of WHAT to make of THAT... Thankfully Todd was there to keep him from asking... By mentioning where in the world Erin had vanished too. "Oh! She's looking after someone huh? Well I'm glad to hear she's okay at any rate..." When he heard Ruby ask her question the god-tier took a second to chuckle. "I guess if I had to put it as simply as I possibly ever could, she's my recently discovered Fraternal Twin sister... Trust me, the specifics would take WAAAY too much time to actually explain. Hell, even I can't really understand it and It was explained to me several times before."

There was a nod of agreement from Alex as he kept his arm wrapped around Yang's midsection smiling to her.......

Yang snickered and whispered in Alex's ear, "You all wrapped up for me under the tree."
Ruby went to deactivate Crescent Rose before looking to Alex. "Hey Alex. Do you want to hold Crescent?" She asked.

Sure she was just teasing him and he really needed to just roll with it. But that kind of joke just REALLY caught him off guard. It rather COMPLETELY caught him off guard. He supposed he couldn't hold it against her since it was more a situational joke then anything intentional... Still... "Haha You little shit~. Why'd you have to make a joke like that~?" He noted Ruby nearby looking a little concerned as he whispered back to Yang... He gave the young woman a kiss. "We'll discuss this some more later~. Preferrably when your sister ain't around~."After a moment, he lifts up and looks to Ruby, "I'M-uh... sorry Ruby did you say something-?" |

He looked a little surprised at the offer. After all, he knew how much Crescent meant to her. And why wouldn't it? She crafted the thing herself with her own hands, impressive as it was. And even more then that, before she made friends, the Crescent Moon was a prized object for Ruby, something he couldn't see her handing over to just ANYONE just for a closer look.
Needless to say, that got a slight look out of him. "... You sure?"

It took him a moment to sit up along with Yang while shuffling around each other, but once they did, Alex took hold of Crescent Rose and looked it over delicately. Everything about it felt smooth, intricate, every piece had a purpose every little notch had a function... It was almost ASTOUNDING that Ruby herself made something so intricate, and at such a young age.
His hand found the lever that Ruby would pull to cock in another bullet for the sniper rifle function of the weapon. Looking closer, he found the nozzle for said gun at the end of the scythe, the blade built into said nozzle. It was amazing how it all fit together and how well it fit into his hand...... He fiddled with one switch and the scythe blade suddenly clinked back like it did in Ruby's trailer, allowing her to turn into a whirling, spinning buzzsaw of cutting death and destruction to her opponents.
"This is.... Incredible... Hahaha~... And you made this all by YOURSELF-??" he gently moved the weapon around, snapping the blade back into place. "I mean, sure, I made my weapons too, but that was less making it part by part by hand and more throwing shit onto an auto-parts assembler and see what it shot at me."
