The Thief of Void thought that this would be the last time he ever saw Yang in something so amazing and something so showy. He thought his bashfulness in seeing Yang in such a state would be the first and only time.... IT... TURNED OUT THAT THAT THOUGHT WAS ENTIRELY WRONG. YANG ACTUALLY WANTED TO BUY THAT- AND HE WAS ASKING HIM IF SHE SHOULD??

WAS THIS EVEN A SAFE QUESTION??

"WH-WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME??" The capitalizations had more to do with his sheer panic then actual shouting involved. His voice was level because to hell if he wanted to see another version of his Ecto Sister give him hell about this. "IS... IS THIS A TR-TR-TRICK QUESTION-??" And to think he was doing SO WELL communicating with her before. Now one look at his girl in such a....

HOLY CRAP THAT COSTUME WAS A SIGHT.

He wasn't really on edge so much as he was hot under the collar. Which, given Alex's past experiences, was not a feeling he actually knew how to handle.

Beth blinked. "You sure? And mind teaching me how to use it properly? I have no experience with hammer-rocket launchers...." she asked slightly mystified.

Yang playfully smirked. "Nope. Not a trick," she offered with a smile. "You can pick the next costume if you want."

Ruby was happily taking pictures of the pair. Weiss was watching over her shoulder and chuckling.

"Sure! I could teach you how to use it," Nora smiled brightly. "Just... not in the mall. Those aren't things anyone should be involved with."

"M-ME?"

"Yes. You."

"I'm... Not sure... I mean... I... Think you're beautiful-. !!! I mean! I JUST... YOU ARE- YOU'RE-!" Yang took a step closer, likely noting the sheer amount of mental distress this was causing.... .... OKAY NOT REALLY DISTRESS BUT DEFINITELY CONFUSION?? The kind smile however caught his attention... CHILL ALEX, CHILL... It's still Yang.... Just... Take a deep breath....

..... ".... Look at me... I'm just... a mess.... I could talk to you normally before but... Put on a... VERY good looking and kinda showy costume and I'm just tripping over myself, trying to think of what to say...." .... He has to take a moment to pull at his collar, trying to air out the costume's shirt... "I'm.... I'm just making this entire thing awkward aren't I........"

Beth gave Nora a hug. Despite looking a bit on the weak side, it was a tight but comfortable hug. "Shall we go make sure that our customers aren't attempting to destroy the shop?" she asked her new employee as she offered a small name badge that read 'Nora' to the girl.

Yang nodded. "Yes but seeing you squirm like this is kinda priceless~" his girlfriend offered in another playful tone as she went to look at the costumes again.

She happily hooked the tag to her shirt, smiling. "Sure! Well, I don't think they're destroying the shop right now, otherwise we'd be hearing a pretty nasty ruckus."

............. Alex's blush was back up, though this time more in embarrassment then a form of mortification.... Okay, maybe not mortification, but definitely confusion? And partial terror? Like, how does one react to a girlfriend dressing up that way and making such a show of it. Sure it was in character of Yang, but perhaps the sheer ridiculousness of the scenario had caught him off guard?

.... Yeah... Yeah, that had to be it.

Okay, maybe he had no means of making her feel awkward back and get back at her for the embarrassing situation (And all of the great pictures Ruby was taking off on the sidelines of the ordeal), but he knew exactly what he wanted to do right then.

He walked up to Yang simply, smiling to himself. "Hahahahaha.... You are utterly IMPOSSIBLE." At her grin, Alex just grinned back... Then he grabbed her shoulder...

Twirling the girl around, Alex grinned and quickly leaned in, giving Yang a big passionate kiss before she had the chance to regain her wits.

Beth happened to walk out and see Alex kissing Yang. She smirked and let a laugh escape her lips.

Yang blinked in confusion before kissing back happily.

Ruby was practically squeeing at the sight as Weiss took more pictures.

"Oooh, you guys taking pictures? I want one later!" she cheered, rushing over to join.

Alex had put up the Zidane Cosplay so someone else could find it in the future. Really though, he just didn't want to use money to buy it since there was still an innate nervousness about being discovered for the source of the damage to the city. It was probably a silly fear at this point, but it never hurts to be careful... Yeah, I think he's being ridiculous too.

With Yang meanwhile, she ended up buying up the Bayonetta costume, walking out with it along with the others. "So, a version of Beth owns the first new shop~. That's pretty neat." He then looked to Ruby and Weiss, the two looking over their recently taken pictures. "I hope you two have gotten THAT out of your systems at this point?" He was blushing quite a bit as he said this. He could only imagine how many photos those two had taken, even BEFORE Nora joined in.

Still, what Yang said before stuck with him...

Oh yes. Potential Gift Idea number 1~.

Ruby nodded. "That was awesome! Now if Yang would let me dye her hair black, she'd be shoe in for Bayonetta for sure," she offered carrying a small silver case of make ups and a mold making kit.

Weiss was examining the DEPS vials she had purchased. "So worth the looks and when Nora jumped in- That was even more perfect~!" Weiss offered.

Yang smiled. "Ruby... the hair rule still stands. No dying it," she replied. Well looks like I have one gift idea for Alex~ And he does make a cute Zidane, she thought as she pulled the guy closer.

The bunch bid farewell to Nora and Beth before moving on to the next location down the line. The building within the lot, Fitness Emotions definitely caught attention, but it was presumed that they could come back by later to check the place out. For now, they needed to keep moving and take a look at the other places around the mall... After a moment, Alex and the girls found a map to the large shopping complex and quickly gave it a looking over. "Okay let's see here.... I remember a number of places me and Yang went by the last time we were here. Vintage Stock, Barnes and Noble, Indie Games, Jack's Movies (Where we found all the Star Wars movies), Hot Topic..." He chuckled as he looked over some of the other stores open. "For Christmas Decorations though, we should really go by the Lowes Outlet store. That's the most likely where we're going to find a tree, some Christmas Lights and other miscellaneous decorations..."

A moment of consideration followed. "As far as gifts go, we could try either any of the places I named before Lowes, the Disney Store, this place here called the Toy Box, some of the clothing shops... We're definitely not starved on options that much is for sure." Alex had also thought about going to one other place that showed up on the map, 'Getafix Potions' which was apparently one of a few stores underneath a particular looking 'Magic' sorting.

Weiss nodded and then looked slightly confused. "The Disney Store looks like it's close. And Vintage and Hot Topic are on the way to Lowes," aahe offered trying to make sense of the map.

"And Forsaken does like to read so a gift card to Barnes and Nobel might be good. She made the comment before heading out on that mission that we needed to have a Disney movie night," Ruby offered.

Yang was following her man's eyes on the board. "What'cha thinking Alex?" she whispered in his ear as Weiss and Ruby continued to chat.

Not too far behind the group, the Angel of Time was casually strolling through the mall, hands in the pockets of his pale grey overcoat, wings tucked away to avoid attention, a typical smile on his tranquil face.

The joy and buzz of the season was certainly in the air. Kendall found that he didn't have it in him to complain about the consumerism or the fact that the true meaning of Christmas was lost to most people. The spirit of giving, compassion and good will was enough to warm his heart, and seeing the love between people and the acts of kindness being carried out around him pleased him, just as he was certain they pleased the Lord. Of course Kendall was going to spread Christmas cheer wherever he went. Of course he was going to do his part to give the good people around him a happy holiday.

Today, though, he had his own friends... his own family to think about.

As he made his way towards his destination, Kendall just so happened to pass by a familiar thief and his companions. Not that this encounter was particularly surprising. At least to him, it wasn't. "Aaron! Hi!"

Alex considered this a moment going over all of the stores between their current location and the Lowes off to the western end. Indeed Vintage Stock and Hot Topic were on the way.... Maybe... The smile on his face was notable as he gave it all some consideration. "Well now that I have my Void Modus back, picking up a tree or two shouldn't be THAT much of a hassle." That's right, he still had to get a tree and some decorations for his own place. Lizzie and Ryan were likely keeping each other distracted but he still couldn't leave them out... Thinking on this a bit more, he reached into a void portal and pulled out an old backpack, handing it to Yang. "Here Yang, use this as we pick up gifts." At the looks he chuckles. "Don't let it's commonplace appearance fool you. That's my old Backpack Modus, used for storing items. It was one of my main go-to storage usages before I got my void powers and, as thus, the void Modus. It kinda works like the Backpack in Minecraft, just imagine it's menu open and you should get a list of things within along with a small number of slots you can use for things on hand."

If Yang did as instructed, a Minecraft-esque menu would've appeared, with enough slots to fit up to 40 items, plus another 10 for the onhand items. "Then you just place the items in the slots like so." He guided the hand with the bag from Dust to Dreams to one of the slots. Quickly, the bag was absorbed into the slot in the backpack. It was actually somewhat neat. "Pretty cool right-? At least this way we have easy storage."

With that said he looked over the map. "With that done, we'll go ahead and stop by the other stores on our way to Lowes and pick up some stuff for the holidays. Make sense to everyone-?"

Before they could get moving however, a familiar voice called out to him prompting the thief, to turn to face him. "Hm? Heh, well well, Mr. Know-it-all. What are you doing here?" The smile on his face at least suggested that the nickname wasn't a sign of disdain, it seemed more like a term of endearment.
