Beth blinked at the sudden movement. "The heck was that?!?!" She shouted as a few bits of the crystal started to break off and float around her.

The very second he warped away with his Galaxy cloak, she closed her right eye, scanning the residual energy with her left. Making a calculation on where he was headed, she managed to spin around the moment they had appeared.
Two full sized humans on a UFO platform built specifically for a two foot tall imp? That wasn't a dangerous idea at all.
It began to make stressed sounds, Solace looking panicked as the entire UFO began to fall back down to the planet. "It's clear to me just how insane you are now!" she growled. She seemed to be tapping at a holographic display, the UFO slowly raising back up. "No. Sudden. Movements. These aren't a limitless supply, darn it!"

"Insane?" I mock-asked, tilting my head a bit to the side. "Why Soly, that's the most sincere thing I've ever heard you say!"
KSSHHHHH!!!!
I stabbed my staff into this flying contraption. Granted, it's probably not gonna do much, but at this rate... Well, any damage is good in my book!!
"Oh my, did I do that? Whoops," I fake-apologized, removing my Galaxy Cloak and tossing it to Beth. "Just wrap it around ya and imagine where you wanna go! Just remember to return it to me later."
Cloak removed, I shifted into my lark form and began pecking at Solace with my beak. "Pokity poke! Stabbity stab!!"

Beth chuckled as she hopped off the UFO and caught the cloak. "Sorry Mercury but do you think it smart to throw such a valuable object at a woman you just met?" She offered as she hovered in the air.

Solace angrily growled and screeched, trying to ward the angry lark away from her face. "You mind gutting that out, you pleasurable, honest man?!" she growled, flicking her wrist. Lark soon found himself incased in a bubble of water, preventing him from escaping her. Unfortunately, her UFO was starting to rise suddenly, before spiraling into a rapid fall.
"You are, quite possibly, the DUMBEST bird in the skies," she groaned, sticking the bubble to the UFO.

"Yeah, but you love that, don't you, honey?" I chirped a bit even as the bubble swallowed my form. Obviously transforming back ain't gonna work...
I felt the water burn at my feathers. Oh this is gonna take longer than just regrowing my hair isn't it...
Seeing as I obviously wasn't going to get out, I opted to wrap my wings over my head and brace for impact...

A tendril quickly started to jab at Soly as a few crystals hovered about. Beth still had the cloak in hand as she smirked. It may have been a long time since my session but I'll still fight, she thought as a second tendril started jabbing.

Solace screamed as she was struck, getting tossed off the side of her vehicle. The ball of water dissipated around Lark, Solace tumbling to her doom as the UFO crashed into the side of a rock, exploding violently. Using her right arm for support, Solace landed on the ground, not a single additional scratch to her form. "...there's more things to rebuild," she sighed, scratching around her horns.

"Argh!" I cried out as I flew out from the dissipating bubble, my form in agony as I still felt the burns. "Man, what's in that water...?"
I landed, transforming back into human form, panting. I frowned as I noticed the tears in my outfit and the burns underneath. I'm gonna get an earful from my tailor later for sure...
"Oh no," I said, forming my bow, then docking an arrow into it. "You're not getting away that easily you little bitch!!"
I let it fly.

Beth gently touched down in the clearing. "Lark! Catch!" she called with a smirk as a few plumbob shaped crystals went towards Solace. Either that imp doesn't consider me a threat, she's more concerned about bird brain, or she's just observing what I do, Beth thought as she tossed Lark back his cloak.

With both attacks spiraling straight for Solace, she surely seemed doomed! Especially with her weakness to earth based powers, she surely would die to this dual-
"GLACIA!"
Her words seemed to echo, time moving slowly as power built up around her. With a giant glimmer in her right eye, a massive, freezing wave of energy erupted out, freezing over the ground, and encasing both attacks in ice. They were unable to see where she was due to the thickness of her ice walls, but by the time either would stop guarding against the attack and check behind it... she was already gone.

"Well, dammit," I said, Galaxy Cloak in one hand, bow in the other. "The little bitch got away."
Letting go of my bow, I let it dissolve into silvery mist and then into nothing, putting the Galaxy Cloak back on. "Eh. She'll be back. Hopefully soon."
I then turned my attention to Beth. "Thanks for the help."

"I was hoping for more of a challenge," Beth offered off handedly.

Off the side of the cliff, below the island... Solace was gasping for breath, layed out on yet another UFO platform. "Thank goodness I always keep five of these with me," she sighed, flinching as the Misceo ocean racked against the side of the island. "And thank goodness that cliff's high... Let's see if I can get to town unnoticed. I have leads to find."
She hopped up, making the UFO hover near the ocean's waves before she rocketed over the island.

"Oh, believe me," I said, making sure the cloak was secure. "Soly's usually pretty fun. But man, I was so close to finally killing the little bitch too."
I felt at the back of my head, frowning slightly at the newfound shortness of my hair. I placed my hand on the burnt ends, feeling my hair grow back to its preferred length. I then started the process of re-braiding my side strands. "So," I said. "What brought you over here?"
