"My my, you've suffered a terrible fate, haven't ya?" I asked. "The death of billions and billions..."
"But you can't save everyone," I said in a more serious tone, generating a weird look. "You've gotta save just those you hold dear. I mean, if a complete stranger was about to fall I'd let 'em, but if it was Leanne, or Percy, or William, or Jordan? I'd rush over and save 'em in a hearrbeat!"

"Sadly I couldn't save those that mattered most to me... my siter, her love, my mother and father all had died...." she offered as she sat in the air and just floated there. "Sure in the Reimagined Earth... they're alive and well.... but it's not the same..."

"Well," I said, flipping a braid nonchalantly over my shoulder. "It sounds like you've had a very bad time indeed, missy."
I walked over to the edge of the island. "But ya know what? Death and destruction ain't always a bad thing. I mean, we need somebody to die so somebody else can be born, right? Or killing something for food. Okay, I do feel sorry for your parents," I paused. "But ya know what? I doubt they'd wanna have their daughter feel like she's got the blood of them plus six billion others on their hands... Even if that IS kinda true."

Beth sighed. "You aren't the first to tell me this... my fiance is a shrink and also went through the same events I did.... Same with the reimagined version of my little sister...." she offered as she gently kicked off the ground and floated. "And that Reckoning killed anything and everything.... most dismiss it as a terrible nightmare.... but 8 of us know these events as true."
One of the hovering crystals, flew closer to the pair as she crossed her legs and hovered sitting Indian style.

"Well, then," I said, not bothering to turn back, glancing into the horizon. "So long as your group of eight knows it was real, that means it was real, wasn't it? Don't forget that, hon."
"I doubt you're the type to spend time in a cemetery," I continued, turning around to face Beth. "But if ya ever need me, just show up in a graveyard and we can go grave-robbin' together... or just talk."
With that, I fell backwards off the edge, shifting into my lark form as I fell.
I think I'm gonna be needed elsewhere soon...

"Or just drop by my shop Dreams To Dust. Though a graveyard walk wouldn't be bad," she offered looking to him. "If you want I can play for drinks some time."
