Solace faded from sight when one of those stones hit, A massive cannonball of water hurtling its way toward Lark as he contemplated what just happened.
Been a while since I illusioned my way out of a jam, she smiled, standing firmly behind the man.

Okay Larkie, what can you do to avoid water burns?

Earth is eroded by water... And water is blown away by wind! Wind! I need wind!
I can just imagine her smug face as I seemingly look on in shock. Obviously, she's expecting me to expect me to think I'm gonna drown.
A bluish green tornado then surrounds me with a flourish, sending the water sphere away from me. "Tsk tsk Soly, you're off your game! I'm gonna win this round sweetie!"
I dispel my protective tornado and separate it into little tiny blades of air, launching them en masse at the imp.

Mere moments before the wind blades hit her, a giant blade made of lightning slashed them all in half, Solace soon getting rid of the electric summon. "You're hopeless, you know that?" she smiled. "I only have feelings for one man, AND YOU'RE NOT HIM!" She loaded a grenade into her arm, altering it into an arm mounted cannon. She then took aim, firing it at Lark.
When it connected, either with lark or the ground, it simply burst open to release a giant cloud of smoke. Solace smirked, soon being hidden in the cover.

"Tch... I see you've learned some new tricks..." I say, covering my eyes against the smoke, dropping the flirtatious attitude just for a moment.
"Windy windy, in the skies! GET THIS SMOKE OUTTA MY EYES!!"
Fwooooooooooooooooooooom.
As my gales subsided, I cursed under my breath, having lost Solace from sight. Speaking of sight, turns out I can't see for now. "Blinding powder eh? Nice one, where'd ya learn that? Be original."
I grit my teeth and extend my arms out to the side, palms down.
I channel my energy into making small sprouts rise up from the ground, seeking to skewer the little pest on one of 'em.
"Well, I don't think he returns your feelings, unlike me. But in the meantime, feel free to get pierced on ultra quick growing bamboo!"

Solace didn't appear to be moving, chanting something as she glowed. In fact, that was yet another Illusion, the real Solace hiding atop a rock as many more illusory clones all chanted. A storm cloud began generating near her.

"So, what'cha doin' this weekend? I was thinkin', maybe we could catch a play and chill," I say, trying to keep myself from falling into that state called rage.
I hear chanting. And when someone starts chanting, they're about to cast a spell. Or sing. But usually when I'm around someone chanting it's the former.
And in this case, they're tryin' to kill me. Definitely not singing.
I summon my staff as the world starts to slowly and gradually return to me.
I chuck it at something off.
"Have some death!"

The staff slipped right through, managing to hit a sound recorder rather than the legit Solace. Speaking of her...
"GRAND RAINSTORM!"
The cloud she summoned began to pour rain on everyone, seemingly going without reason to stop. As it rained, the cloud seemed to grow smaller and smaller.

My eyesight returns to me, and I give a slight growl, seeing as I wasted my staff on a fake.
Only to then let out a loud curse as I felt the rain pour down. "Clever clever Solace!" She seems to respond to the sudden use of her full name.
I then materialize my bow. Clearly throwing shit blindly ain't gonna solve the problem. I notch a silvery arrow into place.
One of them has odd horns.
I let my arrow fly at that one.

She bounced off the rock, narrowly avoiding the incoming arrow as she smiled. An orb of electricity formed in her left hand, the woman sending it into the rain cloud. With a sudden rumble of thunder, the cloud sent a giant bolt of lightning straight at Lark.
"I prefer my Larks WELL DONE!" she laughed.

I just started laughing. I can't help it, that's what I do when I'm stressed like this.
If nothing else Solace seems to look at me like I've gone crazy. ... Okay fine, like I've gone nuttier than usual.
"Hey Soly, remember the time you trapped me in the raimaize storage? Remember how I got out? And how angry all the townspeople were after? ... Oh yeah and then we just ran when they brought out the club. Oopsie!"
FWASH!!!

When the smoke from the bolt hit, there was no Lark. Just some small embers and a scorch crater.
In the centre of said crater was a white feather.
Behind Solace, a white lark landed on some of the bamboo sprouts and reformed into a familiar white-haired man.
"Boo."
I pointed my staff at the imp.

Witnessing the single feather, Solace soon realized who had popped up behind him. "You know, for an idiot you sure know how to outmaneuver me," she smiled. She pointed her armgun at his head, firing off a very bouncy, normal ball before jumping five feet backwards.
"And yes I DO remember that. How silly of me to forget you have a resistance to lightning," she grinned.

I gave a jump into the air to avoid the bouncy ball, using my staff to get some lift. "And how silly of me to forget that was one of the villages in Saia that hated our guts. Didn't we destroy Shima a few years back?"
I flicked my wrist, and the bamboo shot up further, bringing us higher and higher into the air. "Or was it Saki? I have a hard time telling them apart." I gave a swoosh of my Galaxy Cloak...
A miniature meteor, on fire too, came flying out of it.

"Definately Saia," Solace smirked, swishing her arm as she kept her mechanical eye focused on him. A block of water caught the meteor, freezing in seconds before dropping back toward solid ground.
"That's not even mentioning the time you followed me through one of my portals- That poor city in the sky didn't know what was going on," she laughed. "I hear they're starting to finish rebuilding."
She stuck two grenades in her arm, launching both- one was a dark blue, the second a bright red. Fire and Water bombs.

"Aw man, and didn't we fight in the middle of a black hole one time?" I asked as I readied the wind, preparing to keep the steam off me. "Those green snakey things didn't know what to make of us, did they?"
Fwoooooooooooooooooosh!
"Are you gonna hide all day or are we gonna be able to have some fun?" I called through the steam, summoning a personal twister around me to keep the hot vapor off me.
"Here Soly Soly Soly! Now that my student's gone, we can have so much fun!" I called out, focusing on the earth below my little bamboo forest.
