Ruby pouted. "Well... that kinda sucks," she offered. "Well... so what does demon hunting involve?"

Sonic smiled. "Interested, huh? Hunting down a huge number of these weird monsters that fade away when killed. It usually involves hunting them down, or preventing them from invading villages. That sort of stuff."

"I said I was a huntress," Ruby noted. "Sure I don't have super strength on par with you but I do have this."
Ruby reached behind her and pulled out a weird red object. She hit a button and it unfolded with a bizarre mechanical noise into a scythe larger than she was.

Sonic bounced back. "Whoa! That's a neat piece of work!" he called out, walking closer to inspect it. "I got a friend who'd flip if he saw this thing."

"If it was designed with destroying powerful creatures in mind," the giant blue wolf-ish hedgehog began, showing a toothy grin. "Then there's no such thing as going overboard!" And in a sense, he was right. Maybe firing a bazooka on a small sparrow would be overkill, but if the bazooka was meant to be aimed at an enormous dragon, then it was doing what was intended of it.

Ruby nodded. "She's also a high impact sniper rifle," she offered as Crescent folded up to inactive mode again. "And I hunt creatures called Grimm. Though the bodies dissipate upon death... it still a bit of a rush. I decapitated a Giant Nevermore with it. Now that was a battle."

"Think of the largest bird you've ever saw. Now multiply that size by 20, give it the ability to launch feathers 3 times my height from itself, claws sharper than Crescent, and a crested bone mask covering the upper half of it's face. That is a Giant Nevermore," Ruby offered.

Sonic took a moment to imagine it, then chuckled. "That sounds like it would have fit in good at my home," he offered- but stopped. His head pointed behind Ruby, the odd demon hunter sniffing the air. "What the... that's the weirdest smell..."
