A bad time, a bad place. (open)

A red glow started to bathe the island, the natural light source surrounding it beginning to dip out of visible range. A blue streak dashed through the streets of the city, its owner stopping, swerving and zipping down the occasional turn in the road, the small man eventually stopping all together to eye the setting sun. "...This is a bad time to be out in the middle of the night," he thought aloud.

The blue hedgehog could vaguely remember something about this place- A desert? A powerful relic? A doll? His memories were jumbled, misplaced, he was lucky to remember this island in the first place, but he also felt like it was his first time here.

That feeling of Deja vu could wait, though- the sun setting on him was NOT good, especially in such a public place.

[DMis]

A red blur dashed by leaving a trail of petals behind them.

Just a dusk dash and then back to the Hotel, thought one Ruby Rose as she darted between buildings. 'Little Red', as Forsaken had taken to nicknaming her, was having fun doing what she loved. Okay the second thing she loved.

By complete accident, The blue blur collided with the red blur, the par of them bouncing backward in a crumpled heap. The fast streak blowing through town was none other than Sonic the Hedgehog- though he seemed to be wearing different material from usual... "Owww... Sorry, I didn't think anyone else would be booking it through the city," he offered, sighing.

[DMis]

A laugh came from Ruby as she looked to Sonic. "Same here. Haven't had a spill like that in years," she offered to the hedgehog as she readjusted her cloak.

[ryocker]

Sonic chuckled a bit, but his expression kept turning to the setting sun. "L-listen, I'd love to chat longer, but I can't stay outside at night. Do you think you could point me to somewhere I could stay until morning?"

[DMis]

"There's a hotel just a bit from here... You alright Blue?" She offered before adjusting her eye patch again.

[ryocker]

Sonic looked ready to answer her- but cringed. The island's sun became completely hidden by the island itself, the Hedgehog's body starting to sparkle and crackle with dark energy. "T-To late now," he wheezed, falling on his knees.

[DMis]

Ruby blinked. Either the one good eye was pulling tricks on her or something was very wrong.

She quickly got up and backed away.

[ryocker]

The leather wearing, more hunter-like hedgehog was soon engulfed in a black smoke, his body bulking to insane degrees as fur oped on his body. His gloves ripped, his shoes became spiked, the odd curse in his veins turning him into a mix of wolf and hedgehog.

In stress, he aimed a blood curdling screech at the sky, howling loudly before he panted, clawed hands reaching for his forhead.

"Dang it... Why now?" he asked, groaning.

[DMis]

"Okay.... what just happened?" Ruby asked in a very confused tone as she watched Sonic move.

[ryocker]

"A very stupid curse... What was supposed to kill me turned me into this... THING," he growled, groaning. "But it's not much of a picnic being a walking wolf hedgehog." He kicked his spiky boots, sighing as he folded his much beefier arms.

[DMis]

"Sounds a lot better than what I've seen happen," Ruby offered. "Ruby Rose, huntress and leader of team RWBY. You, big blue?"

[ryocker]

"I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog. Demon Hunter extraordinaire. On my home turf, at least. Anyway... Um, I guess I can go..." He started walking in a different direction.

[DMis]

Ruby followed Sonic. "Wanna race? Seriously. I don't get to race other people that often," she offered. "We use the main drag here to the edge of town and back for the track."

[ryocker]

"Normally I'd love to- but right now I'm hardly speedy," Sonic sighed, trudging forward.
