Ruby gave another eerie howl before lunging at the beast.

The beast stuck both arms out, spinning like a tornado as Ruby approached. A few weak smacks got her, but nothing seemed to be able to break that twist. Sonic watched from a distance, looking for anything unguarded...
"...Yang! The top of the head!"

The beast attempted to spin into her, but it began slowing down, landing on its behind as it groaned from dizzyness. Sonic rushed over to Ruby, looking her over. "Did he hit you very hard?" he asked.

"Not really. Not a single broken plate or anything actually... Though I think Yang may be a bit worse for wear..." the Huntress turned wolf offered.

That's about when Yang's punch connected on the beast, the massive turtle landing on his back seconds later. Very strangely, it began to shrink down, losing its massive size.

"She's right. Grimm never did that..." Ruby offered in agreement.

Sonic blinked. "Yeah... my demons tended to just pop into smoke when they got slaughtered, but never shrank..."
While still giant, the massive turtle beast propped himself up, groaning heavily from the splitting headache it now endured. "Boom Boom head hurt..." it groaned, nearly falling back onto his stomach. Sonic attempted to keep him upright, through struggled under the weight.

Ruby soon followed suit. "Yeah it's going to do that...." She offered as she went to try to help.

"You're pretty docile when you're not blindly attacking," Sonic offered, sitting him on his behind. "Why attack in the first place?"
"Mmm... Boom Boom security guard. Make good protection in fortresses and airships for King Bowser," the red shelled turtle admitted. "But... Boom Boom gots nothing to guard, but wants to fight something..." The big turtle seemed to give a pout.
(Imagine if all mini bosses were about the same way, just bored out of their mind, waiting for a hero to come after them...)

Yang raised an eyebrow before deactivating her gauntlets. "Well there is a vacancy at the hotel for a security guard. Last one kinda left due to the place loving to shift around," Yang offered. "On days off, you could spar with me if you wanted."
"That is a thing, Ruby offered as she sat back on her haunches. "I'm Ruby. And punchy over there is my sister Yang."

The big fella shifted his head. "...."
"Don't ask, it's a long story," Sonic advised, the turtle man sighing.
"Security guard... or bouncer," he offered. "Though, King Bowser has lots of me... maybe he doesn't notice Boom Boom's missing..."
Sonic wasn't sure how to react to that. "Wait, lots of you? What is THAT supposed to mean?"

Ruby blinked. "He's one of a race. Like right now I'm a Beowolf which is a species of another creature called Grimm," she offered. "Right big guy?"
"That would suck but at the same time and army of you would be kinda scary to face," Yang offered.
