(OOC: Me and Mugen only, Tales of the Abyss and/or Chrono Trigger knowledge nessicary to join. PM either of us if you want to join in, but because this has the potential to develop into a rather large plot, you BETTER be really freaking active, because we like our plots fast and living on the edge.)
"...Not again."
Luke fon Fabre sat up in the field of flowers he had landed in, and looked around. It was nighttime, and there were a lot of white flowers around, but this was very definitely not Tataroo Valley. Though it was very similar. It was definitely a mountainous area, and he could hear water nearby. He slowly stood up and looked around.
"Tear?" Luke called out. "Tear!"
Tear had been with him as he had been testing his hyperresonance again. But unlike the last time, she hadn't gotten sent wherever this place is with him. Hell, not even Mieu was here, either. Sure, Mieu's servitude to him had ended a while ago, but that didn't stop the cheagle from following him around.
He was truly alone.
Luke sighed. The first thing to do from here would be start heading down the mountain. Probably follow the water to the shore. Try to find a town. That would be the best thing to do from here on.
He jumped as he heard some rustling in the bushes nearby, and his hand instinctively moved to the sheath the Key of Lorelei rested in. "Who's there!"

(OOC: I don't wanna spoil the post too much for FF, but I'll say this. You wouldn't be seeing this on television before 9PM, and it would somehow be edited from a dub.)
Luke would probably feel like a bit of an idiot. Because what came out of the bushes looked to be a raccoon. While they weren't native to Auldrant, it didn't look harmful. It looked up at the strange red-haired man yelling at it. Being of the wild sort, it wasn't used to humans and didn't quite know what to make of the red-haired man. It sat there and stared at Luke for a few moments, and might have continued doing so if something not unlike a bang occurred in the sky above Luke.
A wash of energy shot out over the area, and Luke would be more than aware it was made of seventh fonons. It felt a bit like his own, and there was a slight chance he'd realize it was a sort of aftershock. Those kinds of things didn't run around happening, but it wouldn't be the strangest thing the man had ever seen. What might qualify, however, was that something humanoid was falling towards him.
He'd see it when it hit the ground, although it would probably be better to try and catch it. Again, humanoid. If his eyes were sharp he'd realize if it wasn't human it was something damn close, a silver colored pendant hanging from its neck. It wasn't a male human, either. Nor was it clothed. The blue haired woman was about Luke's physical age, completely nude, unconscious... and about to crash into him.

Luke sweatdropped as a small annoying monster was what answered his call. It didn't look much like any monsters he'd seen before. Though it definitely looked harmless. Like Mieu.
Luke didn't have a chance to make sure that the creature, which obviously had never seen a human before, considering it wasn't running from him, wasn't wearing some sort of magical ring before something exploded above him, sending the "monster" running. It took a moment for Luke to realize that what he had just felt was a wave of seventh fonons. He looked up into the air.
There was a naked girl falling from the sky. Luke blinked at her incredulously for a moment before realizing it might be a good idea to catch her. He managed to get himself into the right position to catch her just as she landed in his arms.
He blinked at her. She was unconcious, naked (not counting the pendant she wore), and had appeared in a flash of seventh fonons. If that didn't scream suspicious, then Luke was a rappig. After a moment, Luke mentally rephrased that.
"Hey, are you okay?" Luke asked, hopefully loud enough for her to hear. Luke officially had no idea what to do.

She still appeared to be unconscious. So the poor physically twenty year old man was stuck with a woman of about the same physical age in his arms. A naked one, which was just a wonderful bit of awkwardness. Just before Luke could ask again, though, the woman made as if she were going to jerk up. What she managed to do was jerk herself right onto the ground.
She flipped her head around several times, the shock seeming to outweight any pain she should have had from the fall. She seemed even less aware of what the hell was going on than Luke was. She caught sight of Luke's pants and followed it up until she saw his face. She let out a startled scream and scooted backwards with her hands. She stopped after quickly putting a few feet between them and looked at her hand. It had dirt on it for obvious reasons, but the issue was that she didn't seem to know what dirt was. Or what her hand was... or both. In any case, she was currently functioning as the posterchild for disorientated, and she didn't seem to be in the last bit bothered she was "au naturale".

Luke took a step back as the girl jerked up and proceeded to fall out of his arms and land right on the ground. She seemed scared of him. No, not just that. She seemed way more than disoriented. And the way she was reacting to everything around her, it was like she'd never seen them before. Like she'd never even seen her own hands before. Not only that, but it didn't seem to bother her in the least that she was currently clothing-less.
It would have been hard for Luke not to realize what she had to be. This wasn't some case of amnesia like what he'd been lead to believe he'd had. Maybe it actually was, but if she really was what he thought she was, someone was gonna get hurt.
Luke carefully approached the girl. "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you." He looked again at how she was very much unclothed, and unbuttoned his own top and pulled it off. At least she could have something to cover herself somewhat. If she wasn't so afraid of him that he couldn't get it on her, anyways.

She jerked her head up again as Luke approached her. She seemed to consider something for a moment, and the end result was her pulling her legs up close. She stared at him, her eyes rather wide as he approached her. She blinked as he talked, watching him pull off his jacket. When he reached for her again she put her hands on the ground and scooted back again.
"...hurt you?"
It was like a parrot. She didn't seem to know what she had just said. Whether she knew or not, it threw a slight wrench into Luke's thoughts. For all the evidence, she shouldn't be able to talk. Her eyes were plenty alive, so it wasn't a case of preprogramming. She looked at the jacket with an inquistive look before turning back to Luke. She'd calmed down at least a bit, and now just looked like a person seeing things for the first time.

Luke flinched as she scooted back again. She definitely was afraid of him. He stopped moving forward as she repeated the words he had said. It was like a parrot, but the fact that she was talking was certainly odd. And threw a bit of a wrench in his thoughts. He hadn't even been able to talk a few days after he was "born"... and it definitely looked like that if she really was a replica, she had to have been created recently. Maybe she really did just have amnesia. But that didn't explain the seventh fonons.
"Yeah. I'm not going to hurt you. My name's Luke," Luke said. He tentatively took a step closer to the girl. The fact remained that she didn't know what the hell was going on around her, and that it was entirely likely he was the first person she'd ever seen. He kept his jacket tucked under one arm as he waited for her reaction.

"...Luke?"
There was a bit more understanding there. It didn't seem quite like she was parroting him. She glanced at the odd thing strapped to his back, to the jacket, to his face, and then repeated the process all over again. A late autumn breeze blew by and the woman sneezed. She looked startled, and it took her a few minutes to register where the sound had come from. She pulled her legs up again close, and she shivered a bit.
Her long blue hair had somehow managed to not get caught under her as she scooted. It fell around her shoulders. If she would lower her legs, it was likely it would conceal her upper body well enough. She had looked at the three locations she had keyed into on Luke again before settling on the jacket. She tilted her head sideways a bit at it before looking back up at Luke.
"Luke?"
One could almost hear the cogs turning in her brain. It was pretty evident she was thinking hard by her eyes. The way she had repeated herself was a bit different. This time she seemed more confident with the word and seemed to be phrasing it as a question. She shivered again and rubbed her arms, but she hadn't moved away as Luke tried to approach again.

Luke shivered a bit as the cold autumn wind blew through the area. It still remained that he was horribly under-dressed for this kind of weather, but he was doing better than the girl was. On that note, he'd have to cover up her... bottom somehow. His face went slightly red at that thought. For his appearance, he still had the mentality of a ten-year old at that certain subject.
He looked up as she repeated his name again, and this time, with how she had focused on his jacket before, Luke realized that she was asking for the jacket.
"Oh, you want this?" Luke asked. He stepped over to the side of the girl. "Here, I'll help you put it on. Could you lift one of your arms?"

The girl, as that description really was better than woman for how she was acting, wasn't quite sure what Luke had said. He hadn't answered the question she was having trouble forming. The one standing in front of her seemed to do just fine for getting what he wanted to say said. She couldn't understand him, but he seemed comfortable enough with it. She looked irritated and let out an annoyed sigh not unlike what a little kid would do.
She noted that he'd pushed the item he had taken off towards her. She frowned, upset that he hadn't understood what she'd said. He walked up beside her and she tensed up a bit, but he was talking in a way that didn't seem dangerous. It wasn't that she was afraid of him, she was just unsure about pretty much everything. Luke had indicated her arms as he asked and she looked down at them. A few processes seemed to click in place and she lifted both of her arms into the air. She seemed to be looking at him as if to see if she'd done what he wanted.
"Luke?" Then again, she wasn't sure what to do if he was a Luke, because it didn't answer what she was.

Luke nodded as she lifted her arms into the air, and slipped the jacket on over her, buttoning it back up once it was on her. He stepped back and looked at the girl. Well, at least she was still somewhat clothed, though that didn't make the blush fade from his face. This was really a problem.
He blinked as she repeated his name. "Yeah, my name's Luke. Uh, do you have a name?"
Most likely not, if she really was a replica. He suddenly became aware that it was getting colder out. They needed to find somewhere to stay out the night. They'd freeze out in the open like this. Well, he'd be fine. But she definitely wouldn't be.

The girl tugged a bit at the collar. The outfit was a bit of a tight fit, it had been made specifically for Luke. Specifically for a guy. Despite being small chested, that made it a bit tight for the girl he'd just put it on. It was a good thing the button holes were wide, as they were pushed to the sides of where they were supposed to rest a bit. A child would get a good view at the underside of her breasts as well for the fit, as well.
She looked up, unsure why his face was all red. She was still sitting on the ground though. Despite still being a bit cold, she didn't seem inclined to move anytime soon. Well, it was possible she didn't know how. Despite forming words well, walking was as much a learned skill as talking. She scrunched up her face in thought as Luke spoke again. Name? She held out a hand and gestured towards Luke. It was similar to what he had done with the jacket to indicate it to her, but her hand was looser. It almost qualified as a point.
"Luke?"
She gestured towards herself, and tipped her head sideways. Under different circumstances, it might have been funny. Her blue hair was longer than Luke's, and it fell into her face. She blew on it a bit before lifting up her hand and lifting the long bangs so it wouldn't block her view of Luke. She was still not quite point at herself, and she had a quizzical expression.

Luke shook his head. This really was like dealing with a little kid. Was this what he'd been like when he first arrived at the manor? Even though his earliest memories were of then, he still didn't remember that time too well. Probably because he'd been so focused on learning basic things. Like his "parents'" faces.
"No, I'm Luke. I guess you can't really remember anything... so you're going to need a name," Luke said. He thought about things. "You're really a lot like a little kid... I guess we can call you Kid for now."
He motioned toward the girl. "Your name's Kid, okay?"
He still had no clue whatsoever how to deal with this.

The girl paused for a moment. She looked in thought again, which seemed to be a standard expression for her. She blew a strand of hair out of her face and gestured towards Luke. Again with the not quite pointing thing.
"Luke?"
She then made that odd gesturing motion to herself. Her thoughts seemed to derail for a moment, and then her eyes widened. She repeated the gesture towards herself. She opened her mouth and hesitated. If Luke read her right, he'd realize she was concerned she'd get it wrong. For a moment it seemed like she wasn't going to continue, but she finally opened her mouth. She was still "pointing" at herself.
"Kid?"

Luke nodded both times, though he wasn't sure if she'd recognize the gesture. In fact, when she'd pointed to herself a couple times, he was worried for a moment that she thought her name was Luke too, but when she finally managed to get the name Kid out, he'd let out a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, my name's Luke, and yours is Kid," Luke said, pointing to himself when he said his own name and pointing to Kid when she said hers.
Another cold breeze blew through the valley, and Luke rubbed his arms. "We should probably see if we can find somewhere to wait out the night. Somewhere warm..."
A horrible thought occurred to Luke. What if there weren't any towns here? Or heck, people? What if they were the only people there? It was clear that this place wasn't Auldrant, that monster from before had been a big enough clue, so there was a possibility there weren't any humans. But they still needed to find some shelter.
