Yang was still blushing before joining Alex in on his laugh. "I'm great at talking before I think," she admitting sheepishly. She was half expecting him to make some sort of joke towards her in return.

Alex laughed a bit more, calming down as he turned to Yang. "Hehehehehe..." When the laughter died away, Alex turned to Yang with a happy smile. "Hahaha.... Yeah, I noticed~." IT would have been entirely easy to crack some kind of joke in relation to Yang's mistimed and mis-stated joke.... Buuuuut, anything he could come up with at that moment sounded like it would've been in poor taste. Yang's joke had been unintentional, so he wasn't going to hold that over her head. Sides, HOW COULD he make a joke like that that wouldn't REALLY embarrass him too??
This HAD introduced a new uncertainty that he hadn't considered before, but he was dogged determined to push it to the back of his mind.
.... He blushed a little bit as he held out a hand, placing it on her shoulder, rubbing it. "Don't worry though~. I find that adorable~. Hehehehe~." He chuckled even more, blushing slightly, but looking sincere all the while.

She gently leaned on him with a small smile. "I'm grateful that I found a man like you," she offered before kissing his cheek.

Alex smiled a bit and gave her a kiss on the cheek right back. "Hehehe~. Well... Just to be fair though." Huh? What could this have been about? "Any jokes I shot back at you at that point would've been in poor taste no matter how easy they would've been~." He smiles impishly. "And I know you can do a lot better then that my lovely blonde beauty~." Another kiss followed, this one on the lips and with clear intent, the tongue breaking through Yang's lips... However he pulled it back, cutting the exchange short, leaving the girl dazed as he went back to game browsing.
Yeah, don't tease when a poorly worded joke is uttered that implies something deeper. Especially if that'll just leave both party's uncomfortable.

Instead, wait until you've moved past the subject~. Strategic switch around!
Alex chuckled as he continued thumbing through the titles on the shelves.

Yang quietly sighed with a small smile before thumbing through some of the games.
"You know I am happy to have you back, right? It was odd... not having you or Todd around..." she offered.

... ? Alex stopped somewhere between the Donkey Kong Country games and Earthbound when he heard this, looking to the girl curiously... Though he made sure to grab up the big box storing Earthbound and it's strategy guide. "Heh... I could tell...... But..." He raised an eyebrow. "You didn't even have Todd around though? That's kinda strange. He'd always been so protective of you before." He thought a little more deeply on this... Could this have been because of Evelyn?
"Well at least you had your sister and Weiss to keep you company... But... For what it's worth... Again." He smiled to her kindly, taking her hand and kissing it. "I'm sorry for ever leaving you worried for my safety. From now on, let's stick together Yang~. Take on the world together~."

"Does that... Sound good to you?"
It probably said something that the two had been seeing each other for close to months and Alex still felt like he had to ask for confirmation on such things. It seemed he knew the answer... And yet he always asked...

...... It... Truly warmed his heart to hear this... It warmed him in ways he had never expected he would be warmed ever again in his life. His family was gone. His home was gone. All he had left of that old life? M and Lizzie. Two people he would forever hold close... Though he did wish he had more time to spend with Lizzie. He'd have to set aside a lot of time with her at some point in the future to properly make up for it. Maybe he could even spend some of the Christmas season with Yang and Lizzie together. Ryan could easily come along, and, of course, Ruby and Weiss, cause it would've been unfair of him to take Yang away from her team like that. Todd and Forsaken could even join in as well. Heck... Why not just open up his place all together?
They had a lot of new friends now... Though....
Wouldn't that mean his apartment would be cramped?
.... Hmmm, looked like he would have to start considering his options....
For now though however?
He pulled Yang into a hug. Tight, warm, secure...
"Trust me. You are not going to lose me. I will fight the entire Greek God Pantheon before I gave up a fight with anything else we met here... My fear though... Is losing you... I've... I've lost so many loved ones already...." His grip tightened.... But lightened up a second later. "But I won't lose you. You're strong enough to knock my block off on a good day. And together~?"
....... "I'll bet we'll make one kickass team."

She hugged back just as tight. "Oh yes we will~" she offered.
"You will what?" Asked a familiar tone. "We've been in here for two hours. Ruby and I have been looking for you for half the time..."
Yang sighed. "Go get Ruby and we'll meet you at the counter," she replied to Weiss in an annoyed tone.

Weiss quickly leaves after Yang shoos her away. With a sigh, Alex pulled away and smiles to Yang with this happy and contented smile on his face. "Welp. Back into the fray, as they say." He said simply, taking a moment to kiss the girl on the cheek. "How about, after we get done, we go out on a date? Just the two of us? I'll bet the theater's playing some new movie we could go watch, and we do know some places to eat by now~."

Ruby was bouncing as she held a bag from the store. Weiss was quietly holding what looked like a second hand cd.
Yang raised an eyebrow. "What'cha got there Weiss?" she asked.
"An artist I never heard of but she has a lovely voice," Weiss offered.

Alex meanwhile took up another register and put down the copy of Earthbound to pay for it. The guy running the register was definitely surprised to see another big purchase from Alex since he was the same guy that gave away the Buster Sword. "Oh really? What'd you get?"
